The layout has been missing a siding for too long. Today we change that! It's time to lay down some Bachmann E-Z Track and get our trains rolling again!

Nice to see someone using the Bachman track. I absolutely love this track it’s already on a roadbed and can easy be glued down.

I think it's great for temporary setups, like in our case. We can keep experimenting with different setups. I had my first train set in the early 90's... I would have loved EZ Track back then. Instead my dad nailed down the track and I was stuck with a circle LOL. Thanks for watching!

Thanks and I hope so too! It's rough every time we change around the mainline... it usually means no trains are running! And I also know what it is like to have to tear everything down. Our layout moved 3 times... and I'm sure it will move again lol!

Love This Video when You get Your Track Work It Slowly When you have The Right piece Go slow And It will Be What it Is A Beautiful Piece of Work. I Run Bachmann N Scale And No Problemes Love It my Wife Runs Kato And Bachmann N Scale And She Loves it And So do I.👍.

Glad to see the bachmann track - its been so hard finding video's using this track only. Would this siding be possible using a DC layout as well ? Also could you do an informational video showing the bachmann track radiuses laid next to each other for reference please !

Cool video, love those BN's and a buddy of mine told me yesterday about NS8100 the Nickel Plate Road heritage unit and I got to see it and it was second on MNLCH 09 on Union Pacific's Chester Subdivision and did you guys hear about CSX's newest heritage units?

Awesome! It's always cool when you get to catch heritage units! Yes, we have been following the CSX heritages. I'm glad they decided to make them. I don't think everybody is a fan of how they did the schemes, but I'm just glad they are doing anything! I'll be looking for that Chessie!

What are you using for power? I have an approximately 5x9 layout using the ez track and I have 3 derailed/power tracks spread out but I seem to have power gaps. Yours looks very smooth and consistent.

Hey! We use Bachmann Dynamis. We only have 1 red power cord going to the layout, it is working well. Bachmann makes a voltage tester that is handy for finding where power is low. It led me to discover that some of my railjoiners were not connected right or just not working anymore. What's the minimum track radius on your layout? Thanks!

The outer loops are 28" and 26". There are a few industries where we used 22" for smaller cars like 100 Ton Hoppers and 2 Bay Covered Hoppers. Thanks for checking!

What's the size of the layout?

16' x 12' with a good amount of space in the middle. We wanted every spot to be somewhat easy to access.

@TrainsintheValley that's what I thinking about or 18x12. If you had to guess how much would you say you spent on ez track,

@@The_Duggler25 Probably somewhere around $500. A lot of the mainline switches are DCC and our yard uses the big #6 switches. We're still laying track though, we just did a very basic intermodal yard. We're starting to add some E-Z track to our website, if you ever need anything, feel free to reach out on the website!
