Have you ever felt trapped in a cycle of delivering rather than scaling your business? In today's video this is the hot topic I'm talking about, and I share 5 pillars of the job description for being the CEO of your own business.
This is one of the biggest problem I see that small and medium business owners suffer from.
You started your business to live a different lifestyle from being employed, and well done you had a vision. But then what happened?
For most entrepreneurs and small business owners the issue is you get swamped in the work of the business and that means you have no time left to focus on how to scale and grow the business.
Today I share 5 pillars of being a CEO of your own business, the work you should be spending your time on. Creating the ability to work ON your business is the golden ticket to scaling and growing your business so that you can live that life you dreamt of.
Okay, so are you ready? Lets jump in.
0:00 - Have you asked this question "...how will the work get done if I'm not working on it and how can I get to the point to afford to delegate it out?"
0:50 - Why is it important to address working ON vs IN your business?
4:14 - Lets have a look at what the pillars of working on your business are.
4:22 - Number 1: Your ability to lead.
5:50 - Number 2: Communicate your vision and strategy, internally and externally.
6:15 - Number 3: You need to be able to build your team.
7:04 - Number 4: It's your responsibility to ensure you have cashflow in your business.
8:38 - Number 5: Continually work on self development and up-skilling in and outside of your business.
10:26 - That is everything you should be doing in your business! BUT how?
Which of these pillars do you find the most intimidating, let me know in the comments below.
I post a new video every week, so please subscribe to this channel NOW / @ceoentrepreneur

This is going to help me get over this place that I’ve been STUCK in for waaaay too long. I can’t grow because I can’t hire and I just keep working IN my business and don’t grow enough to hire! I have to admit thought that I also allow myself to be stuck by not doing what I can do to move slowly forward. I stay in my comfort zone of working in the business. I’m feeling very optimistic now.

Thank you for your kind words and welcome to CEO Entrepreneur 🔥. If you have any questions you’d like me to cover in a video, just put them in the comments. And to answer your question re; being Turkish… no not directly… but I think my great great grandparents must have been from Turkish origin somewhere in the family tree! And yes if I had a dollar every time someone asked this question,… 😉

Explore some programmes or memberships that cater for business owners like yourself and help you develop yourself. In these communities, there will be other business owners that you can exchange knowledge with in the form of Masterminds and also realise you're not alone. If you're interested, CEO Entrepreneur runs a programme called The Firestarter that offers this support and community, so you can check that out here: ceoentrepreneur.com/firestarter/ We've also got a programme in the works for new business owners, so watch this space :)
