Oh… and another thing about watering… drive a 1” pvc at an angle down to the roots and water the roots directly in the hottest part of the year…. No wasted water

Once your strawberry beds are full, pluck the suckers and your berries should get larger. Are you able to keep the fruit tree borers out of the trunks of your peach trees? How?

Looks good thank you for mentioning the grounding sheet I’ve tried grounding but I don’t go outside barefoot so I finally bought a sheet after your video and I’m sleeping better but I was having blood pressure issues before then and I think that’s why BP went back up because of poor sleep now it’s going back down 👍👍. I cheated on my fig tree it’s still in a pot I put it in my greenhouse for the winter it’s doing great this year.i look like a helicopter mom this year I might get Brussels sprouts 🙃🙃

In the Paris, TX area and my figs do the same thing. Planted 2 in the spring of '22. During their 1st winter, both appeared to die but 1 resprouted and actually put out a few figs. Appears to have died again but now sprouts are coming out of the root system. Maybe eventually it'll make it.

I would put him in with the older hens. I have some young hens that hatched last year that will turn around and give a rooster a peck to let him know that the procreating was not on her planner, and back off buddy. (But I have all kinds of combinations, including breeding pairs, it works. One of my 2021 hens was being bullied in her folk, she got out and I put her with a gentle rooster and her feathers started to grow back and she lays 3-4 eggs a week. She is a Saggita / Buff Orpington cross and her rooster is a Dixie Rainbow/ Indian Game / Buff Orpington cross.

We live in east Texas as well, near Chireno. Our chickens do the same, take the grub & run with it! The runner chicken is so busy running away with the grub, the bird can't take the time to eat the grub! Fun to watch! We've watched your YT channel since the beginning. Tell your wife we enjoy her hard work for the show as well. Question: We would like to see a follow up report on your DR push weed trimmer, now that you've had it awhile. We are thinking about getting one but we are concerned about some of the bad reports with the company not getting back to folks in a timely manner.

My chickens occasionally find a mouse or mousling, and again the race is on. So fun to watch, but it is extra protein.

How much lower did the shade cloth lower the temp in the greenhouse? You know the USDA-NRCS High Tunnel Initiative will pay for a High Tunnel . After 2 years you can turn it into a greenhouse.

I had installed the shade cloth on the inside of the greenhouse because of the pine needle going into it.That created a gap between the shade cloth and the greenhouse and the heat could not escape, so it actually got hotter in there.

You can spray them with a mix of two tablespoons of neem oil with two teaspoons of dish soap mixed in a one gallon pump sprayer.

Your homestead is looking great. We currently planting our garden, we have added tromboncino and cucuzza to the garden this year. Our Turkey Leg Figs are on some sort of crazy growing phase. The one we thought would have died over winter is doing great, the one going into winter looking great is now struggling. Now that we are expanding our garden to about 90'x80' we are hoping to add additional corn and protect our watermelons from the deer. We homestead 24 acres in Smith County TX, we enjoy your content.

I hope that you decide to stay in the USA. I hate to see people just want to leave the country when things get tough. That is not the attitude that I personally would have but I hope things work out for the best for you and you are able to remain here in this country I don’t think you would have as good alive, as you have now here in your own country, just my opinion I do enjoy your videos.
