📺 VIDEO DESCRIPTION-In this video I join several other KZfaqrs for an off road collaboration in the American southwest!! My name is Larry with @worklessenjoylifemore which is normally a channel about living in a pickup truck camper and boondocking. Iim joined by my good friends from @YourJesusJourney and some new friends from @wondererschasinghorizons and @ChocolateManInThailand. This group of KZfaqrs collaborate by taking our vehicles deep into the Arizona desert and find things like a sunken school bus, abandoned mines, Maggies slot canyon, and even a deep water crossing!! With hilarious commentary we are ready2mob the muddy trails near Lake Alamo!!
James with @ChocolateManInThailand who's channel consisted of him being a van lifer who travels the United States as he narrates his experiences, rides with me in the red 1992 Geo Tracker. Tracy and Kimberly with @wondererschasinghorizons whose channel consists of boondocking and RV living, ride in their burnt orange Ford f350 lifted truck. And Thad and Kaila from @YourJesusJourney whose channel consists of a daily morning podcast and videos of their travels all while teaching the word, tackle the trails with his black wrapped Ford f350.

This was such an awesome video! The car handle we used to call the "Jesus" handle growing up. Getting to see the slot canyon was amazing. And boy does the wheeling in the mud bring back some memories. Looked like great fun with great people.

Looked like a lot of fun cruising around the desert. That plant is a Cooper's desert broomrape (Orobanche cooperi) is a parasitic perennial plant with purple flowers. It's that time of year for blooming. Peace man✌🏼

This is our kind of video. Really enjoyed the four wheeling. My Larry felt like he was right in the passenger seat. You are doing right getting out and meeting camping friends. I miss 4 wheeling in the desert. I used to spend days in my Ford 1 ton dually taking roads that I never should have when I lived in Tonopah, AZ. I've been all over around Alamo Lake and been to the bus. LOL My truck had a big lift so rocks were no problem. I grew up in NW MT crawling Mountains in a 69 Willies Jeep. 4wheeling is in my blood. I had fun playing the "I'm just a girl" card. The guys learned quick not to put me in the lead. 😂👀

Larry what a great video! So happy to see your new friend posse. James has a super personality so I'll have to check his channel out. The two of you touring in the Tracker made for some fun KZfaq. That slot canyon was super epic. When you got to that super narrow section where you had to get out and walk I was hoping you would back the Tracker up to the opening and get a kick a%$ pic. Glad when you got the drone out and we could all see the larger picture. Keep doing what you're doing :)

That was a small desert bar/restaurant that was in the middle of nowhere so I was expecting it to be a little high but $7!!! 😂 I miss gas prices in the Midwest haha

He actually does have a seatbelt that I use In the truck a while traveling on public roads. I also use it when Im worried about getting into some bad trails. Unfortunately since James was in the seat I didn’t really have a good place to connect the seatbelt. Looks like you having a great time. Where we live we have narly jeep trails. My hubby went hunting last buck season, he told me about (the big rock) . We jumped in the Suzuki had no idea where he was going hunting. Then all of sudden we were crawling up the big rock. Straight down on both sides. One minute you see the road, next thing I'm looking at the sky. 😂😂 Good thing hubby been up a few times with his buddies.

I've paid $7.00/gallon at that bar/restaurant before... cool place. Middle of nowhere, really... makes that $7.00/gallon seem like a bargain. LOL! You do know how dangerous slot canyons are because of flash flooding doesn’t have to be a storm where you are could be miles away and still flood, caution is the name of the game. Watch the rattlesnakes too.

Yeah I’m aware and I tried not to spend too much time in there. I kept Mason close and I kept looking for routes out of the canyon just in case water started flowing. I would have climbed out with Mason and left the Tracker if I had too.
