Let's go camping together friend!! It's 2023 and having or maintaining friendships / companionships are hard to do with everyone's busy schedule. Loneliness is a serious pandemic right now, so let's be friends!! Just grab a coffee or a beer and relax while I take us on this exciting POV Southwestern Arizona desert camping experience!! We go dry camping / boondocking in my "vintage".....okay "OLD" pickup truck camper and this time we bring alone the 1994 Geo Tracker 4x4 so we can go explore some of the real Wild West!! We explore some trails deep in the desert and find an amazing view at their summit of a nearby mountain range. I make a few mistakes like almost giving myself carbon monoxide poisoning while BBQing inside my Walmart yurt tent and cover them up with my witty sarcasm haha. No cell service, no people, and nobody around to help out here in the west. We are all alone out here in the harsh desert!!

Your cast iron pans are great for egg's, the secret, cook your eggs with a heated pan off the flame. Your pan will keep it's heat, without a flame. Perfect eggs, no burning.

It kinda brings tears to my eyes when I see the beauty there my dad and mom and I used to take the 5th wheel to places in Utah you thought the 5th wheel could never go we went to desert the mountains and took the 4 wheelers out seen so much wildlife and you could just sit and watch quietly. But unfortunately now my dad has health issues so we had to quite. But watching your videos such brings back some wonderful memories. So thank you and I have since left Utah and retired.

Good evening from Godley Texas, currently at Blanco State Park. Beer and olives, is that the poor man's martini. Grilling in a tent will always result in smoky scented fabric. Great price on the tent. Older vehicles need those pre driving checks. You need a homing device on the camper. I fully understand having cell service. Hello my friend love your videos it reminds me when I was living in California I would go camping by myself and slept in the back of my 4 runner. Most fun I ever had camping. I wanted to tell you incase you don’t know that anytime you are climbing up the mountain roads always use low range it takes a huge strain off your transmission and torque converter and helps it run cooler. I have been a mechanic for 45 years so I just hope this helps you.

Larry at this point I think you might be taking night classes in videography because this video was perfection! It had JOY - your constant smile, it had TOUCHING MOMENTS - when you spoke about the blanket gifts and also when you talked about your appreciation of your community and everyone's comments and it had SUSPENSE - will Larry make it up those gnarly looking roads in his Geo?? Oh wow, thank you!! No, I am not taking classes, it’s just everything I taught myself and the little bit of experience I get each time I go and shoot a new video. I have a lot of plans for the video I’m going to go shoot over the next couple of days, for next Tuesday! I hope it turns out as good as I am, hoping it will! As for merch, at the bottom of all my videos below the description I have a link set up for some generic merch items. Although it’s not the route for merch that I plan on going. I actually have a company in St. Louis designing a logo for the channel!! As soon as I approve the logo then yeah I plan on doing coffee cups, hats, stickers, ect. As we get into spring/summer the monsoons (rainy season) start but usually they have a hard time predicting where the rain will hit because usually it’s a bunch of little storms that blow in fast and leave fast. It rarely rains for the entire day. So usually you’re able to sorta go around it or ride it out for an hour then it’s sunny again!! 😆

You and me both! That would’ve been a long walk back to camp if that thing would have broken down 😆 I would say, though I have definitely MacGyvered my way out of a lot of situations like that! 😂 So I’m pretty confident that I was gonna be all right. Worst case scenario if I would’ve had to abandon the Geo tracker and walk back all those miles in the dark with Mason, then I would have done it. I just hope that never happens 😆 Thank you for keeping me in your prayers 🙏

Your mason looks like my.lil girl mattie rose well she ws rescue in 2009 ahe saved me after my poodle passed at 17 and left a very abusive marriage she came to my rescue rather...i just lost her this year on my birthday feb 8 she ws 14 still grieve her mason basicaly has same look in his eyess as she had same tail mattie ws a poodle mix maybe a lil malti i k now mason is not same breed but oh gosh he reminds me of my mattie we love your channel we live south of houston on the coast so happy its cooling down had a horiffic summer 110 evryday ..anyways keep making your vids i stay up watching them late at nite so thank u and mason both for the amazing camping vids alwys wanted to camp too fearful to ever do it alone....love watching ppl on their adventures thank u and much love to u both ...be blessed ..and have a wonderful christmas😅

Great garage sale find! You can put some rugs down, lights, a heater of some sort. Really do all kinds of neat stuff with the yurt.

It’s absolutely beautiful where you’re driving I love the desert it’s a beautiful place and even a little mysterious. WOOO HOOO!! A 4X4 adventure video! Hi Larry! So happy to see you getting out there in your Geo Tracker! Doesn't it give you a deeper sense of adventure? Heck, I was feeling it just watching! You found a good spot, you had a nice fire, you had a good adventure, you did a great job filming everything and making us feel like we are there with you... The video totally rocked! Great content, and I hope to see more! I was gonna write on your Thanksgiving video, but I was dealing with the loss of my sister to cancer, selling my house, selling my Jeep, moving stuff and passing stuff on to family and friends... I haven't been out in over a month dealing with all that, and I still have a few things to deal with before I'm where I want to be... so seeing this video made me remember why I'm doing what I'm doing, which is preparing for the next chapter in my life: I'm going to become a "Vagabond, Gypsy Nomad"! Or... As my daughter likes to tease, "An old bearded man living in a van down by the river"... Hahaha! I'm going to get a bumper pull trailer to live out of, Tow it with my Dodge, set it up in boondock camps and use the Dodge to explore since I had to sell the Jeep... (Logistics) Anyway, Keep doing what you're doing! I think it's working!

Howdy Larry, another great video. I lived in Vegas for 7 years during the 80's and we would only get less than a handfull of rain per year back then. No worries, thank you for asking. The grill is actually propane and it uses those small green propane tanks. I bought it from a thrift store for like $8 😆 but it works great!! I’m pretty sure it was made it the 90’s but I like the used stuff that has character lol.

This made me miss AZ but 😂 that tent went down those steps like 10 year old me in my aunt's heels. I guess we were both okay! 😂 Awesome blanket and the vibes from the viewer section are next level. Right, that’s what I’m saying! I paid $3000 for that Geo tracker when there are people out there paying $30,000 more for side-by-side’s ha ha ha. I’m sure the side-by-side’s are nicer but who’s got that kind of money ha ha ha. Thanks for watching. 🙏

Looks like you got a good deal on tent if it doesn't leak but for now its okay. Thought there could only be one of mason yet today came off 4lane and all of a sudden traffic came to stop truck in front of me stopped and jumped out and there was a second mason running down the road owner chasing it both lanes stop so they didnt run over him dog wasnt read to be caught they finaly caught him and owner was really happy it was quite a site every body catching a dog. Thought you were in the area kidding pennsylvania. Take care and mason safe. There are kind people yet still around galation 5 -- 22 fruits of the spirit

Hey Larry fairly new to the channel Kenny of all trades sent me over he was not wrong great content I will continue watching I find myself looking forward to Tuesday evenings you and Kenny are very timely with your videos. With that being said I would like to offer a little bit of advice and that is to put a hitch with uprise in your receiver so you are not Towing with your hitch sitting on top of your ball at that angle that could be catastrophic please be careful I look forward to future videos

Wow... finally see someone putting olives in beer! About 20 years ago when I was living in San Luis Obispo County, CA, out in the country there is a small town called Pozo and I mean small. There was a bar there that served food and had bands on the weekend. My friends took me out there as I hadn't been before and they are known for serving up beer with olives glass jugs (like a large mason jar). They give you mason jars to pour your beer in and long spoons to dig out some olives in case you didn't get any while pouring. That was so good. We spent a lot of time out there that day and I got pretty dang tipsy as well as the wife of my friends. Her husband didn't have many as he was our DD. She and I were talking the next day and about our hangovers and I told her it was because of those olives! LOL J/K definitely wasn't the olives That place closed after the pandemic.Sold and is getting renovated to open sometime again next year. Loved today's video I liked you brought the Tracker and took us on a ride. You should do it more often. Got to say, hahahaha, as soon as I saw that BBQ grill in that Yurt... HHAHAHA I knew smoke was coming. :)

You know you might be right on the hangover being caused by the olives! Only because I noticed I can drink twice as many beers when I have olives in them that I can without ha ha ha I’m not sure why though 🤷 I actually plan on taking the Geo tracker on next weeks video which I am pretty excited about! I plan on filming that video over the next couple of days so we will see how it turns out. Ha ha ha Thank you so much for watching and sharing your story 🙏 😊

That’s actually a good idea you had there about keeping track of certain subscribers. I hope youtube will consider that AND give you credit for the idea. iIn the mean time, I guess you’ll just have to utilize trying to pm certain people to keep in touch, and adding them to a list in your contacts.

That and TransX had my old Tracker running longer than anyone thought it would. Had a button on the dash for the horn and everything. 😂 Wish I could have found someone willing to work on it. I'd have kept it. Good luck with yours!

Put some of the bacon grease on the dog food he will eat it right up ,also good for his coat

Yeah, I’ve tried that but he won’t eat the bacon grease. He does like little bits of bacon crumbled on his food sometimes but as soon as I add a little grease to it, he won’t eat it for some reason. I wish I knew why he always had an upset stomach and didn’t want to eat, but I took him to the vet and they can’t find anything wrong. They told me some dogs are just pickier than others. They also said it could be his anxiety about things. I’ve had him for 10 years and my anxiety used to be really bad. I’m pretty sure I wore off on him. I tried to make him feel as safe as possible, but he still is scared of everything . He’s got that anxiety buried deep inside of he 🤷
