How do you get wires through the roof without causing a leak? And how am I going to get insulating panels to stay up without a lot of trim work and fasteners? Easy answers to both it would seem...

That is a really nice shop, been fun watching it bloom. As far as your insulation I'm pretty sure the silver (reflectivity) goes towards the heat. (Up)

Hi Marty, I got rid of all my paddle bits and I now use forstner bit, step bits or hole saw. They do take up a lot of room but I’ve had my share of close calls. Just my own preference. Loving your build. Your handyman skills is what I like most about you. Long time fan.

I watch every video from start to finish. Some of my favorites have been these mini series like the catch 120 giveaway the customization of all 3 KTs. 1-2-3 and now the workshop. Your content is real and genuine. You should really build yourself a tiny home and create more amazing content for us to follow along with. But if not then I’ll be right here watching whatever you do create. Thanks for entertaining us for so long !

For sure the sliver should be facing up. That helps deflect the sun. Understandable the silver is nicer to look at. Maybe if the first sheet went silver up and second silver down would be most efficient and aesthetic.

Another good update Marty! Loving this series. Been away with no interweb for a couple weeks, so operation catch-up in progress. Get a Vise on that workbench and save your fingers! Stay safe & well.

Hello my friend, thanks for showing us your build, I am a novice and I would of put the insulation facing towards the ceiling to reflect the light up. But glad I watch you channel I pick up a lot of tips of the trades. Keep making these great videos, Love the dogs best friends you can ever have, They will never Rat you out 😎🌴🌅✌️

Spray foam in a can will fill the gaps and works as an adhesive also.

When you picked up the paddle bit I thought this won’t end well. Lol. You just take it in stride. You are so funny. Thanks for another great video.

I could be wrong - but shouldn't the foil side be toward the heat to reflect the heat from coming into the trailer?

Seems as simple as obvious, doesn't it? Maybe someone who "worked in construction for many years" knows something that every other comment here from us laymen failed to realize 🤔😏

That was a close call right there. I am lucky enough to have a whole drawer full of harbor freight step bits. Because I coupon out the wazoo.. this one time they had get step bits free yada yada if you spend x dollars. And so because I was stocking up on other things I now have me like 12 step bits of different sizes. I have learned the hard way that step bits slice through plastic like butter and are REALLY good on galvanized trailer frame when I was swapping the beam on my kayak trailer for longer. Metal bit went dull so I got a different bit, also went dull and then I was like let me try a step bit and BAM. Can never have too many and my advice to anyone is to just have every possible drill bit for every possible situation, whether its a 24 inch bore, a concrete bit of different sizes, a hole saw for concrete, a hole saw for wood and acrylic, spade bits, step bits... I found through time that I actually manage to use all within a year. Glad that you caught it in time because it was 1 second away from a bad situation.

I would have put the reflective side towards the roof! That’s how it should go. Per the manufacturer.

According to the Electrical Code, i dont think you can have a single gang box used as a junction box, with 8 connectors in it used as a pull box. 😁

I am going to say this even though I know why you are doing these shorter episodes (Q%$%$#@#$@# KZfaq algorithms some of us older folk like longer content!!) I think you should post longer episodes every other weeks that are 2 of the shorter ones + some outtakes (yes I know extra work but... you rock so hard that I will proudly admit I want more Marty Videos!!!0
