2 approaches Firstapproach . CPAP for 3 minutes then CPAP + PS 7 minutes total 10 minutes Second approach CPAP + PS for 3- 5 minutes Monitoring A. Clinical assessment Breath pattern Is any retraction Breath sounds 2. Mechanical evaluation Tidal volume normal 4 - 6 ml / kg RR Normal 40 - 60 breath/ minute 3. Pulse oximetry Heart rates - if there's bradycardia O2 saturation- if there's HYpoxia Before the test Be sure the patient met and fit for all criteria of extubation 🤲🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹

The Spontaneous breathing Trial (SBT) involves placing the infant on endotracheal continuous positive airway pressure for five minutes ( 5 minutes) with continuous monitoring of heart rate and oxygen saturation levels. The infant would pass the test if there is no hypoxia or bradycardia during the trial خمس دقائق هو لو طفل تعبان مش حيستحمل دقيقة واحده حفظكم الله 🌹🤲🙏🙏👍
