Its true. Inflation we're having in Malaysia right now is 'Urban inflation'. When everything is centralised in Kuala Lumpur city, all of the prices increased only in Kuala Lumpur. I suggest that we should divest into other states and together it will balance out the income distribution.
@secrets.295Ай бұрын
Not true at all. Inflation is spread all across Malaysia, especially food prices where prices do not vary by much no matter where u go. The biggest cost of living difference between urban areas is due to high rental or high property prices. This is partly because people make more money in big cities like KL compared to in a small town like Pekan or Tanjung Malim. You make more money, u pay higher prices. That's pretty much the case anywhere u go. I do think that Malaysia has for decades abandoned the rural area, towns, and mid tier cities. However things have changed a lot ever since 2010 until now. Second tier cities have started growing & lots of infrastructure projects have been invested by the government. Pan Borneo highway, ECRL, WCE.

It has been practiced since the 1980s. The federal government back then refused to promote and forbids investors to invest in the opposition states.

Itulah yg pemimpin² UMNO ratibkan sejak berdekad²... Islam tak menindas,tapi umat Islam sendiri menindas sesama umat Islam. Cintai Islam, Allah swt kekal di hati. Kemajuan di dunia hanya sementara. Islam & kemajuan blh seiring,.. manusia yg hati busuk & dengki akan menindas sesama bangsa & agama.

Obviously the poor state governed by opposition party since its the people choice they have to live with it
@videoaku557Ай бұрын
It should go back to the era where BN was at its peak. No 'lots of help' was given. Just enough to eat. That is why the state is still backward. Not because it is ruled by the opposition. And that situation continues to this day even though BN is no longer in power. Even now the government has not given much more. Just want to get used to it by visiting here and there
@junweiliow8899Ай бұрын
Sadly, based on the World Bank country director's comments, it seems that only if we can pull up those poorer states in the game, we will see a higher growth in Malaysia's economy. But the opposition party has not educate their people enough to appreciate how the economic change will make their lives better. With rural Malays also make a significant number in the Malaysian population, it pulls the average income/whatsoever income measure they have on the Malay population, not knowing that rural Malays and urban Malays have very different philosophy to life. Urban / more educated Malays wish strive for higher income and are eager to work towards this goal, while the rural Malays do not believe in the same value of physical money, and they would rather invest in their afterlife and just live a passable life, until life hits them hard and they realize how important money is (when they get old and in need of money for illnesses / when floods hit or etc). It's just really sad to see how we're running into a gridlock when not everyone is equally invested in boosting Malaysia's economy.
