It's really weird how shadows changes a drawing to a reality.

Awesome, your organization of form is crazy clean. Would be great to see what your ref screen looks like, or even a tutorial on pulling from multiple ref images for sketching

I'll share the reference in the future, it's typically just images from pinterest. Once you have control of forms it's not too hard to just move things around in perspective a bit

You constantly draw the lower horizontal of the 2nd floor window at the exact hight of the upper horizontal of the 1st floor window. That way the 2nd floor window would essentially be a door, it opens all the way to the floor. Your videos are awesome, it just made me chuckle a bit.

I'm curious if the seat on the first wagon was a mess up or if it's supposed to be that way for some reason?.. it looks backwards. Not to detract from the over all work and advice here, your skill is top notch:]

How do you tell the difference between one point perspective, and 2 point perspective in where one set of parallel lines converge at a rate much slower than the other set?
@DoctorZisIN
@DoctorZisIN 5 жыл бұрын
If a set of lines is parallel and the vanishing point is also the point of view of the observer, it's one point perspective. If both sets of lines converge to a point, no matter how far and the point of view is somewhere between the two vanishing points, it's 2 point perspective.

Really astonishing, but what exactly happened to part 2? Will you out it back up again, and if the old video contained a scene that you weren't comfortable with posting, will you redo it/ cut it out?

Any tips on creating a decent sketching brush? Mine always feels horrid but you seem to have some great line weighting with yours. I'm just running a hard round with pressure on size + op acity

You have no idea how much you and your videos help me, thank you so much for this. Are you considering drawing more humans later? I loved your clothing videos and would love to see more. Maybe some wild west stuff (I'm also addicted to RDR2 lol)? No pressure though, I'm assuming these videos aren't easy to make and i'll be satisfied with anything you put up. Keep going!

Nice drawing but the windows don't make a lot of sense. If there's a third level, the top window is flushed with the floor. If there isn't, it's too high to reach.

@F H Sure we can say that, but that would put the staircase obstructing the way to the balcony (1st pic) I've looked at pictures of old buildings of this period and I haven't found any with this window arrangement... But hey, when you're paying attention to details such as wood grain and wood joints, who has time to care about the layout of the building, right?
