World Championship Blacksmiths 2017 season is in full swing. Las Vegas is the last stop for the WCB crew. The judges for the National Championship in Las Vegas are Gene Lieser and Chad Chance. In this video Craig makes an aluminum front shoe for the live shoeing class. This shoe is made from 13" of 1/2" x 1". It is punched for six E7 slim nails. The shoe measures 6 1/8" wide and 5 7/8" long. No blocks or cutting allowed and bob punched. The contest will be Dec 7-9, 2017.
