I really miss WCW Saturday Night and watching Sting,Lex Lugar,Arn Anderson,Stunning Steve Austin and a lot of others wrestle

I believe this is BEFORE the show was called "Saturday Night". When this theme debuted in the spring of '89, the show was just called "World Championship Wrestling".

@@MrJon76 I'm not sure why this whole setup (graphics package and series name) lasted past the time the promotion, which Turner renamed World Championship Wrestling (WCW) soon after buying it, started using its own name exclusively instead of the NWA moniker, which it phased out by the end of '90.

6:05pm every Saturday back in the day on TBS after the Braves baseball season was over 2 hours if the Braves were playing on the west coast like los Angeles,San Diego or san Francisco visiting the Houston Astros or the st Louis Cardinals

This song would get me hyped I’d watch the show then go to either old Philadelphia Spectrum or Civic Center. Saturday nights used to be lit for wrestling
