was in cherokee just last week. fishing was tough. it was a mon, tues, weds trip. caught a few small ones. glad you guys post these vids though as it gives those of us not familiar to the area a starting point. i fish pretty early in the day so as to avoid the crowds. thanks again

Tom, It's the 1st golden we've ever caught there. I guess they stocked a pile for the opener. Ole Fluff and Chris saw one last summer, but there was one guy fishing for it near the island for 8 hours so we didn't get a chance to try.

I remember seeing your salmon eggs in my local Walmart they were there for about a week not even part of the stores merchandise, no barcode or anything but a price tag on it, so I bought it no problem. This was in Lincolnton nc and it’s not suppose to have trout bait, it could have been by mistake. Can you try to ship some to Lincolnton nc? Big fan of any salmon egg brand but happen to see pautkze as a surprise and not mikes.

I looked on Google Earth and didn't see any sign of a creek near Fairfield inn. There socco creek across the street in front of the casino. Where were you guys fishing?

Really, why is that? A local fed his entire family for dinner with that fish. This is a put-and-take fishery. We are thrilled someone got to enjoy it.
