Pakistan had a strong balling vs India is a myth even in the balling department they are better. They improve day by day and our players lost the track Kumar & Bumrah used to ball at 135KPH now they can ball 145KPH look at our ballers even in the speed they do not reach 138KPH. even Amir lost the swing which he used to had in the past. Playing with better strike rate doesn't mean that you hit every ball for a boundary it simply means rotate the strike and look for bad balls to hit for a boundary. But our players went into a defensive shell and they waist even a bad deliveries which can be easily put away for a boundary even today if you see Rohit was playing sensible but he didn't spare bad ball all dispatched whenever there is an opportunity. This theory is a bit old that you just kept containing wickets in hands and don't bother for scoring runs. Problems is our mentality is we only know two ways to play a. just do a defense b. attack and play risky shots. there is nothing inbetween. A good player can play with decent strike rate even without taking too much risk. Please don't compare Indian batsmen with Pakistan they were not chasing when you are chasing runs to have to be right on top in terms of required run rate which is only possible if you keep currently run rate above the asking rate this is our India has been chasing and winning. When Indian batsmen plays dot ball they do the recovery very quickly as they get set but our batsmen waist too many ball 50 runs on 80 balls and they got out when they have to do the recovery of waisted deliveries when you are chasing 300+ runs you put more liability in the process. No the new batsmen comes the required run rate is 8 when it was in the beginning. I have been watching Pakistan loosing in the same fashion while chasing since childhood and the story continues. Good teams do not break the momentum of the run rate when they are chasing big total this is the only way. I don't think sarfaraz should be in a playing 11 let alone being captain of the team we need smart captain capable of critical thinking. Babar Azam has a potential to become world class batsmen & Mohammad Amir can be the captain depite these two I don't see anyone in my playing 11 I would rather pick players from street crickets even if we have no one good left in the domestic.
