Wow. What a special guest. Seeing Federica in a biathlon race made me smile. Winter sports sisterhood there. 👍

She’s always seemed very down to earth and not a kind of elitist, snobbish athlete. You often see athletes and you get the feeling that if they’re not competing in their own sport, they have no interest as a fan. But she’s the opposite, being a big fan of another sport entirely and watching it on TV to relax. No surprise seeing her hugging Vittozzi who’s a similar personality.

She's such a great skier, and she's one of the sweetest women on the Alpine Tour. I'm sure it meant a lot to the Italian women's team especially for her to stop by. I think a lot of pro athletes we're unaware of are biathlon fans.
