Nothing on the track. When it gets cold, there's not as much heat in the racetrack. With these cars pushing as hard as they are, things happen. Nothing wrong with the racetrack.

High 50's to mid 60's, nothing wrong with track these cars are pushing the edge and leaking fluids all weekend and the track ate up plenty of crewmember shoes one poor girl got stuck on the track and had to be pulled off by officials.

@fsx-legend4602 Didn't think that the crews prepping the track did anything wrong. It just seemed odd the way them cars were sliding around like that. Not being anywhere close to there and living in Idaho and our day time temps have been in the low 40s to 30s and a lot of moisture in the air (for us anyway) it just seemed like it was slick they way they were sliding around that track. That Lamborghini driver's rear tire wasn't even rolling as they pulled up to the Christmas tree. Just found it odd that these cars had such trouble with a glued track. I would expect it to be that way for the NPK races and not for one of the biggest races of the year. But it's hard to judge an entire event off a 30 minute thrill and spill video.

@fxb0412 I don't know if you two just can't read or are not comprehending anything I said in my comments. I simply stated that it looked like an ice skating rink with all the crashes that were in the video. I have been around racing for almost 40 years. When you have massive amounts of money invested into one of these programs, you normally do NOT see the number of crashes that were in this video. I don't know if the creator of this video did a compilation of crashes or not. Yes, crashes happen at every race but not so much with these caliber of cars. Like I said above, I found it odd to see the number of crashes, especially within the first 60 to 100 feet. This video made the NPK races look like an NHRA event. I have my opinion, and y'all have yours, so I will leave it at that. Take care

@CJE2007.5 when it comes to this event, I've been lucky enough to be in the announcing team and I've worked at MIR for 19 years. What you don't understand is with these cars, most of the time they aren't going to go perfectly straight. With the wind resistance they're going to move around. When you push your car to the absolute limit, things do happen. Crashes happen, but when someone questions the safety or integrity of the racetrack, then that's a problem.
