I still remember I was 10 years old. After 1992 World Cup .. Pakistan won 1994 hockey and snooker world championships.. what a great time for Pakistan 🇵🇰

Can you imagine this, 4 time World Champions, 3 time Olympic Champions, and one of the GREATEST hockey nations Pakistan not able to even qualify now. What happened? And how this is happen? Can they produce one more Shahbaz or Sohail Abbas or Hasan Sardar or Sami Ullah? It's really sad to see this tragedy in Pakistan hockey. This really makes me cry. Wish things can take u turn for PAKISTAN, and they could dominate again in the hockey world.

I am an Indian and I am 62 years old, from my childhood i am a fan and a strong supporter of the PAKISTAN HOCKEY TEAM . The present day style of Hockey and the rules have spoiled the originality , quality and the beauty of the HOCKEY .The present day Hockey is like a Rat hunting .

Shahbaz was like maradona of hockey. It was great match. The real hero was Mansoor Ahmed goalkeeper of this match. Sadly he is no more with us. But his memories will remain with us.

My mom, uncle used to tell that pakistan and even india used to be monsters at hockey during 70s to early 90s. Very sad it changed to a cricketing nation after 90s. Atleast there is slight change in situation now due to social media. Love from India💛💛

Most umsung heros in Pakistan.....Mansoor ne apnay aakri ayaam biht he kadampursi ki halat mei guzaray aur is dunuya se chalay gay Mansoor was man of the tournament coz he brought Pakistan in Final against Germany then won WC for Pakistan by saving 2 penallity steikes in Final
