A nice motor home but I’m not a fan of the bunk doors. I prefer a curtain. A door would be better to block out light and noise but when you get up you have to open it and if the other bunk buddy is still sleeping it would wake them up. I do like the window shade thing better though. The one in mine gets crinkled up and stuff.

I looked at the Thor site and like the 38FX. Now if Thor could only get their quality up to the price point. And a sale price should be in the $260K range. You have to tie the frig closed? Are you kidding me, that and the 50amp plugin is just stupid. The price just dropped by $30K.

At that price tag you can get a Renegade. 🧐

Would rather see a table and chair option with a televator

I'm with Andrea on the back wall storage. The cabinets under the window need to come out and turn it into a desk. You could keep the clothes hamper but shorten the height in order to add a pullout table extender for an 'L' shaped workspace. The power cord needs to be changed to a reel at this price point. This isn't an entry level trailer where you try to save a few pennies but it is Thor so .... Finally a Super C with a decent size shower. They should all be this way.

Nice rig. I did not see a "work" station at the front passenger seat. Maybe make half of that rear storage into a desk like Andrea suggested.

Dislike the generator being located just below the bedroom, dislike the TV location at the dinette (can 4 people sit there without shouldering bumping the TV?), dislike the lack of power cord, dislike the folding bed, love the W & D prep, love the solar prep, love the bunk over cab.

Should be using a reel, either electric, spring loaded or even manual windup, for the power cord.

Based on the quality of my Thor Magnitude 2021, I would pass on this one for now. I would like to see that the front cap doesn't separate over time and that the diesel tanks can actually be filled at a truck stop. Mine cannot. While not stated, it sounds like the full wall slide has a Schwintek slide out system. They are really meant for small slides that aren't heavy. They fail frequently in the Magnitude and Omni, which are smaller RVs. After the one year warranty expires, Thor doesn't want to hear from its customers........unlike Newmar or Tiffin.

Likes: Perfect size chassis, full body paint, and the air horn! Dislikes: Needs a softer front suspension, no electric power cord or fresh water hose reels, and I agree with Andrea, a private desk on the back wall of the bedroom, with the window, would make it much better.

What a very nice coach. Love it. Love the outside storage spaces. I really like that there is a tankless hot water system, you won't believe how long the showers that my kiddo and I take. That bunk over the cab is fantastic, especially that front window. Not a huge fan of the theater seats. I would opt for a 2 or 3 seat couch, or two seperate recliner seats, so long as they are bolted down and approved for travel. Dinette is a nice size too. Love that fridge freezer too. The MSRP of $ 340,635.99 is reasonable. Bunks are great. Daughter suggested removing upper bunk so she kinda has her own room, great idea. The master bedroom is great and I love that you could have stackable washer dryer in there, I would have that already installed. What a great unit. Nice review guys. I do have a suggestion.... When there is a QR Code, maybe place that right on your screen, like the specs, for a few seconds at least, so we have time to scan it. Enjoy Your tour of the European motorhomes.

Good job Thor, the minor worts aremjust growing pains. I would buy this coach IF Thor offered a LIFEPO4 lithium battery option with 1200-watts of solar & 3000-watt hybrid inverter, plus if they offer a proper Office option IPO the bunks! Those of us working remotely to support 16 USFS campgrounds need a place to work at night while we are out supporting the campgrounds during the day. Great job Thor!!!

After watching the first European RV episode last night & looking over the Hymer RV line. Hymer seems to be more imigenitave in their designs. Thor needs to go into a partnership with Hymer & import some European RV'S to the US.

Hi Matt and Andrea! My dud likes are like you says Matt the power cord how you have to hook it up and the refrigerator how it needs to have better locks on it so it doesn’t open. That’s all of my dislikes because this Super C is really nice.My loves are the storage and the bunks and the theater seats. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Super C. Thank you both for your videos! My wife and I just bought a Thor Pasadena with the same floor plan. There is not really anything I would want different other than the power cord. We are having several issues post delivery that we are having a hard time getting resolved. I hope it gets better. Other than our issues, the motor home is a great design and the chassis is awesome.

Very nice. Upgrade to Villa furniture and it's a winner. That dinette, TV, Recliner set up is the only way to go in a C or super C setup.

I like having one big sink and a power tower in the kitchen. LOVE the over cab bunk! Agree with the 50 amp hookup.

This is a very nice motorhome. I would choose the 38FX for my two oldest kids no longer camp with us. I do agree with you about the power cord. That was a poor decision to make it that way. I really hope these Super C's from Thor do not really have a TPO roof. For the price, that would be unacceptable. Thanks for another great video!

Beautiful. If we ever sell our Class C and 'move up,' we want a Super C. Likes: full body paint, pass thru storage, solar, ccc, pull out storage under dinette seating, Dislikes: One bath (deal breaker), bunk beds, brown cabinets, lack of kitchen counter space and no oven. msrp. Still like the Enegra Accolade 37K the best.

I like the rig. Choice of cooktops, good storage, nice looking. Make the bed north-south and move the dresser to the slide is my suggestion. It is not unusable and way out of my price range. The feline overlords would like the bunch over the cab and the rear dresser.

Love the space and floor plan in the 38DA. Hate, hate, hate the storage.Thor should have added overhead storage over the table. Would prefer more storage over a larger window. Needs a dish washer. A smaller fireplace with storage on both sides as well as make access to storage behind the fireplace easy to get to.

Price of the trash can is $340,600 MSRP / 23,471 lbs estimated empty x 3 lb trash can weight - it’s a medium = $43.53 - definitely high end boutique kitchen shop matched set price, but not $156 sorry Andrea .:. chassis features 👍🏽 paint job, storage, huge ccc; cockpit area well appointed 👍🏽 holds price point; definite kitchen kudos 👍🏽 counter space, big fridge, cabinets (even without the oven we’d option); bonus bunk over the cab 👍🏽 big capacity, headroom, windows; double bonus big bathroom 👍🏽 esp the shower; triple bonus bedroom 👍🏽 king beds rule, storage and washer dryer .:. We sleep 7 👎🏽 might eat 7 (if the cockpit seats can swivel), and might seat 7 (swivel seats and we’d option a sofa instead of theatre); not boondock friendly 👎🏽 no back bed with slide in; no chord reel misses the price point 👎🏽 agreed Matt .:. Great review guys! My wife and I looked at Showhaulers for a long time. This THOR INCEPTION 38BX has just become our new favorite! We have a 28 foot bumper tow right now but when the time is right.... (1-2 years) THIS is what we will be getting. Then it's out traveling as our retirement gig. The larger forward area and the layout of this coach is 1st class. The amount of storage is superb. Hard to find a "dislike" in this unit. Concur about the 50 Amp plus accessibility. I suspect that will be changed in the future and then it will be as close to perfect as you can get. Great coach.... we want one. :) Keep up the good reviews!!

While I like many of the features in this unit, I'm disappointed it only has a 41 gal grey tank capacity. In a unit this size with the capacity to sleep 6-7 people, 41 gal grey capacity doesn't cut it. This would be a deal breaker for me. Most of the Accolades have larger grey & black tanks. This unit has a bunch of storage overall.

I agree with most all of Matt & Andrea's likes and dislikes. We have a Jayco Seneca 2021 L and over all like it better that this 38BX. The only thing that bothers us is the keyless entry was eliminated with all the Thor company super C's after 2020. We owned a Jayco Seneca 2013 L and it had a keyless entry and we miss it.

I have to agree with matt on the electric hookup like seriously i'd rather it be on the outside of the storage box under a flap or something i don't like the idea of leaving my storage box being open to hookup to power especially if i am using it to store things and on top of that, you have to bend over in an awkward position to line it up and someone else mentioned the grey and water tanks could be a little larger

Thank you for the video, you didn't mention if the dinette turns into a bed or not. Although with the bunk over head and bunk beds probably wouldn't need to. I love the bathroom, especially the shower. Love the bunk over head with the height, and weight limit. Lots of storage throughout, and set up for washer/dryer. Also love the instant hot water heater, and the paint job. I don't like the electric plug hook-up, I don't like that you can't adjust the front seats or turn them around, and I don't like the way you have secure the refrigerator. Locks would of been better. I also didn't notice if the vents were in the floor?

Make all the hard left turns you want......the refer door wont move.....it's those hard rights that will get you Matt!

Very nice, I like the bunk over the cab and how they cover for the windshield works. Looked to be better quality than some of the other THOR products.

I really love this model! I was really excited about it, especially because of the larger shower. BUT, I really wish they would’ve kept the outdoor kitchen and the 4 wheel drive like in the magnitude.

This is almost the perfect setup I've been looking for. Get the bed to face North and south and make a no slide version and it would be perfect for what I have been looking for.

Hey Matt & Andrea. We really like this one. Not a big fan of Swintek slides for full side slide outs... Also think the 50 amp hook up is not well thought out... Feels like they didn't know whether to go high end or low end style so they compromised and that makes nobody happy. Really wish they had outdoor kitchen. Hope you guys are well. Getting a suspension upgrade on our Windsport as we type this. Is the Master bed as high and hard to get into as the Windsport 34j???

Saw your video last night. We agreed with your dislikes. We definitely did not like the idea of having to tie the refrigerator when traveling and having to plug the electrical cord into the unit itself each time.

What’s up with the exhaust next to sewer outlet. I hope Thor steps it up as our hurricane has been a PITA

It has a lot of storage and it is pretty. However, at this price point the major issue separating distance from Def and fuel tank. This means you have to move the rv to fuel and or fill the Def. This size rv needs 3 AC. Generator and batteries on smaller size. As mentioned power cord reel. Also mentioned, size of grey and black water tank need to be larger. Not trying to be harsh, just as we see it in comparison to other Super C's.

Great review, not a fan of the small storage outside, don't like that the bed can not be used with the slide in. Love the bunk over the cab! Love the paint job on it!

Don't care for the Super Guppy look of the front cap. That TV intruding into the dinette is a no-go. Are the cabinets and trim all stained wood, or is there vinyl wrap?

The engine exhaust pipe is right under the wet bay. That could be a burn hazard if working in that bay when that pipe is hot!

I agree with Matt about the power cord issue. Other major dislike is that this is supposed to be a family RV. It sleeps more than 6 yet it has a tiny dinette which is further diminished by the TV taking up part of it. Finally, not a fan of the decor. Don’t actually care for super Cs so I don’t have any likes. 🤷‍♀️

I wish they would leave the generator on the driver's side to cut back on noise on the camp side.

everything looks very nice, high quality. The layout is great, side swinging slam latch doors on the outdoor storage is a big plus, but the color scheme is not for me. It's way too dark for me. If you like brown and toupe this is for you
