Thanks Yota, I have tried many of them but enjoyed only a few.. sadly, most of the existing openbor games suffer in terms of difficulty level. It seems like they just make random spawn enemies when designing it and don't test their own games. second, attack box and body box are often a problem too, yes even pierwolf games have this problem, not the case with magggas. I was a bit annoyed when I had to defeat enemies not with tactics but had to use freespecials most of time because these enemies or bosses had 0 body box. Designing game like this is a bit lazy if I may say so. Last, actually I don't really mind with unfit sprites as long the game mechanics is good, because we can only use the available assets sometime.

@@MachokRomeo Very true. I'm pretty much concerned about how to make 'intelligent' enemy, but since i have absolute 0 knowledge in scripts, i'm afraid that if i don't receive help, my mod's enemies will also be dumbs xD It's important to make challenging enemies and fun to fight with.

I know sometimes lack of script makes things not work as we wanted (Ai, enemy behaviour etc) It's good to work on projects with a team, especially if the project is big enough. I'm still curious about your project hopefully one day I can see it because the first time I saw openbor in my life was the final street fighter 😊
