Just wanted to say thank you to all who enjoyed these comparison videos. This is probably the last one I'm doing for now. It was just a quick idea I had and there was only a couple of songs I had in mind for it. I'm not opposed to working on more though. So if there's any specific songs that get heavily requested, I may work on it. It was interesting to see the differences. As for my opinion on MegaMix overall. I think it's a great rhythm game for the Switch and still a good Project DIVA experience. If you've yet to jump into the series, this is a great starting point. If you already own Future Tone, it's definitely a hard sell unless you really want that experience on the go. Otherwise, you're completely fine sticking with Future Tone. Even more so, since it is getting the new songs in MegaMix as DLC in the future. Either way, I think you're in for a fun time if you enjoy these games. :)

The main thing Mirai has against all of them is the fact that it uses the entire song and the change in pv is also refreshing

Is no one gonna talk about how great the pv is in mirai dx? They made a whole new dance to the song which is actually used in concerts now surprisingly. Kinda surprised Sega didn't use the mirai pv instead

I prefer F 2nd version because, visually w/ the lighting and background, looks amazing. Mirai DX got the opportunity to make it a bit more original which i like too. with the MegaMix model, her clothes blends a bit too much w/ the windows and kinda hurts my eyes a bit and miku looks really flat(like there's no shading or lighting on her)

I love how they're all so synced, like slightly different camera for F 2nd sometimes but otherwise the same in terms of dancing! And then there's Mirai doing its own thing ig

FT: same as DT, feels dated Megamix: the pv is dark so the toon shader barely even shows up, feels dated too. F2nd: it's an upgrade alright. Mirai: HOLY SHIT THE STAGE CHANGEs

If only they use: Mirai dance + F 2nd model and effect + FT physics... That would be a perfect combo

I never played any of these games but F 2nd looks the best, Miku got a lot more sass and movement. Not to mention the lighting/coloring and the background! They put a lot of effort into F 2nd while the others feel like cheap remakes of eachother (especially MegaMix and FT)

F2nd and Mirai really out here flexing on Future Tone and Megamix like the queens they are 😌💅

Wish they used F2nd motion in MegaMix instead of the one used ever since the PSP.

my favorite is F2nd, because the lighting is more interesting with more pink hues which creates a nicer atmosphere than the other PVs. It also has more dynamic camera angles which i really like. That said I really love project mirai's adaption too. They completely re-choreographed the whole song which is pretty awesome and I love how the stage changes too.. I actually prefer mirai's choreo because the we've seen the old one like a thousand times lol

I love how when Mirai takes a song from Diva the pv changes drastically yet when Diva takes a song from Mirai the pv is actually the same. Look at the 1925, Age Age Again, and Tricolore Airline.

I'M SCREAMING. Omg, I literally re-watched that hair flip at the end so many times. That hair physics makes me so happy. It obviously not the best, but compared to Diva it's beautiful.

now obviously I'm a little biased (due to Mirai DX being my first "Project" game), but I genuinely prefer it. the stage changes, there's brand new choreography, and it overall just feels cleaner to me. plus it gives me great nostalgia from being a 9-year-old fascinated with these singing synthesizer androids that danced on my 2DS's screen. ah, it was an era indeed... how I wish to go back to it.

More people have to appreciate F/F2nd style modules and PV lighting and stage design and more people should definitely appreciate some of the better PVs in Mirai I'm looking at you KOKORO

Don’t @ me but I feel like the Mirai PV always looked great, it would have looked better if it was ported to Project Diva.

My first Project Mirai was my first actual introduction to the game, I've watched the music videos to Project Diva songs, and played the demo to F, but the actual first game I owned was Mirai

One small detail I found interesting that I wonder why they didn't keep it, the F 2nd version, near the beginning of the song, she counts one, two and three on her fingers, where as the Future Tone and Mega Mix she only holds up one finger for all of them.

I'm amazed that Megamix have a solid frame rate just like Future tone despite of limited hardware.

Project DIVA F2nd is the best one. Might not have the FT shaders, but it has a lot more personality and attention to detail. It will always be my favorite.

I love this song so much and watched many PV version. F2nd is still the best in overall presentation(light, shadow, background, and pose).Every scene matches the meaning or lyrics. Though FTPS4 looks more real in light and more texture detail, I don't like the camera shot at poor light direction and the light from the window is too bright to see the scene color. Mirai DX surprised me with new dance and CHANGEING STAGE!!! Thanks for making this comparation.
