The Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. It is 1.2 hectares large and it recreates a cool-dry Mediterranean climate. The roof is fitted with a very particular type of glass which allows for maximum light yet minimal heat, so the dome can be cooled more efficiently. It hosts an number of sculpted gardens, each representing different corners of the globe, from South America to South Africa.
