My thoughts too. I have a cordless Milwaukee rotary hammer drill that feels like it does the same work with a spade bit. I was expecting those jack hammers to break large chucks in about 2 seconds. They seemed to just go in and get stuck.

I think the bigger hammer did better. The concrete they placed for the show was a high strength, like a 4500 psi Big rock. When you get in to high high psi thick concrete you'll want neumatic or big breakers.

The plastic rebar chairs are probably no good. Putting plastic in the concrete isn't a good idea plus you don't know what the long term affects are yet. And as soon all that weight of concrete pours onto it it'll collapse unless u have a bunch and it's probably a pain in the a tryna slap those on to a bunch of spots rather then jus have it all metal tht won't bend or deteriorate as fast and not move up or down

Many interesting new tools. So cool the Milwaukee outside gear and the Cutco knives booth! Dave, the electrical vehicles have a "Frunk." Front/Trunk where the combustible engine department use to be.

As a person who lived in Arab countries and driven their highways and roads that were concrete, asphalt or pavers, I will say I never seen a single pothole in the concrete or asphalt, or a single dip or uneven slump in their paver work. They build everything on sand mind you.

The problem with all of these battery operated tools, is the life span of the battery. I don't know about most of you, but cell phone batteries seem to go bad after two years. IMHO, cell phone companies hide this by getting you to buy a new phone every 2-3 years. I think the same is true for tools and other battery operated things. Yep, I prefer the hassle of cord management. If I need a generator to power corded tools, I use that. Just my personal opinion and nothing more.
