Also consider who was right behind him. He had to outrun Schatz and Larson. One mistake and they would have passed him. Well done by Day.

Cam Smith also had a win at Williams Grove with the Posse the week after he graduated. Kid is doing great for a recent graduate!

Outlaws are weak with truely only 6 competitive cars 18/15/17/2/41/1s and there super reliant on the front row to actually win just look at there races there damn near 90% winning off the front row so when there forced to race there 💩 all 6 of them "stats dont lie"🏁🏁🤭😂🤔

It takes an almost perfect week to win the Nationals. Not sure the 14 is ready for that level of perfection for the 2 full days they'd run to win it all. He's good enough and the car is fast enough. Will be fun to see if they can put it together. We used to race against Corey's dad Ronnie back in the 80s and early 90s. Ronnie was a gasser even after he broke his neck at Baylands. How he survived that one I'll never know. He was leading coming on the bottom coming off of 4 when he got hooked straight head on into the outside wall. It was one of the worst impacts I've ever seen in my 65 years at tracks . God Almighty, he hit hard. He's and his wife have raised a good kid in Corey.

They've done it before. Dirt track racing is not a fit for a cable television broadcast format wise. Too much downtime. Dirtvision and FloRacing stream nationally/globally so in essence it is already available nationwide.

There’s no reason to. They’ve tried years ago but there’s no efficient way doing it. Plus cable is on a huge decline. Most people are streaming anymore. I have Flo, and Dirt Vision, and couple others for baseball and football and that’s it.

I've been to Knoxville twice. You can't believe the corner speed against the cushion and wall there. Eldora and Volusia are both faster overall and they are both banked. Because of the banks the cars are yawed with the right rear against the fence. At Knoxville they mostly drive it straight so the right front has a good chance of getting stuffed in the wall first. Nothin' good ever comes from that.

I like Schatz, but he actually lost ground. No one was beating Day on that night.

Word over the public address at the track was that his tire blew just prior to hitting the cushion in Turn 2.

When you don’t race up front as much, this is the results. Logan needed that cash way more the kid or multimillionaire Kyle Larson.

Yes he did need that win all way around…. Keep his drive up and money In the bank. Logan clearly had very fast car and would probably won it on experience.

Yeahhh, let's not lose another young talent to nascrap. Let's keep the talent where the true racing is at: on dirt.

I would rather have him be another Steve Kinser than another, Kyle Larson.

Why waste a young talent with what Cup racing has become. On it's best NASCAR Cup can't compete with the quality racing seen in sprint cars every night.
