Bushka I wouldn't keep calling bushes "soft cover," because people might start to think it will actually stop a shell. They are *concealment*. They help prevent you from being spotted, but once you are, you will take dmg.

winrate dosent show if a player is good or not, but more lucky or unlucky. i do between 3-4 k minimum per match at tier 10.. but how can you win when your team gets wrecked and dont corporate? look at the personal rating and dmg of the player to know if he is good or not. if it was a solo game then yes the winrate would be crucial but as team game is more of a joke that people care about it.

and my winrate is just 48%.. 4000 matches and above 1300 dmg.. people playing in platoon with me say how can we loosr when we played that good.. i think is my bad luck..

SupremeNoob on Blitz ehh?i agree wid u but only to a small extent,coz i ve played 47k battles(m one of the first players of WOTB) i ve got a win rate of 64% now,over time u become less dependant on ur team,u should always try to polish ur skills in the game,if ur team mates fail you then u have to try ur best to carry the match(and thats whr the skill comes in) and that skill is exactly what u need to get a better win r8

I see these people in the comments saying how wr doesn't matter as you can't always win because of your team which I agree with, but wr does matter. I agree avg dmg is very important too but people here saying they are a good player at 49% and I'm sorry but that's just not true, stop making excuses to make yourself seem better, just work to improve it! Even though you can't win every game you can affect it and win the majority. I don't platoon often at all yet have 70% recent.

Dusk I just posted a similar reply in the top comment (that somehow has over 50 likes). It's crazy how many people believe they have low winrates because of their "bad teams." It has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to play the game.

Ok I could finally get a good team to fight them wallet warriors. The other team fully camped at spawn, so when I saw them all targeting me, I decided to go and do a tiny flank, and when I arrived my team was feasting on the last guy like wild wolves lol

Go see a voodoo priest, ask for bettet MM and voila! Instant 60%! The title of the video should be "How to become a better player" forget the 60% stuff, the matches are team dependant, individual play helps but doesn't amount to much when your team is suicidal.

Justin McCormuck exactly. There are so many components in the game like line up, matchmaking, map, what tank you’re in... It’s always looking easy when a KZfaqr is doing it who gets payed by Wargaming or at least gets all the benefits by doing these “commercials”.

@Roald Bloemendal really? I got 4 games in one day without heavies. All 4 were a loss because they went ahead and rush us and rekt us. And the mm is probably using WRs, putting a 60%-70% player with teammates with lower than 50% Wr. I saw this a couple of times now so it cant be a coincidence.

just upload a video or two into youtube about blitz and you're on your way to 70% the amount of subscribers doesn't matter, I've got less than 20 but WG clearly has a bot shifting trough the internet to make sure people don't catch on to players who don't succeed on everything they do.. that or you're delusional. What I'd like to add to the list bushka kindly put together is: ammo choices. Maximise your DPM in every possible situation, if you're lining up a shot to the arse of a softer tank, use HE. If shooting at the side of a heavy, use AP if that can go trough. Only use gold if you absolutely need it! edit: Also, never ever play the tanks stock. Grind the free experience to get at least the essential upgrades on it and after that only play for the doubles! The free XP is for skipping stock modules, not for skipping tanks.

I think my wr was around 40% when I started watching bushkas videos. I should be at 50% in a couple of days now. I think resetting camo and using bushkas bushes is what did it. Thank you Mr Bushka o7

Great video Bushka! NO YOLO is my new creed - I drive a lot of lights. This video is an excellent review and more importantly reminder of play styes that can get forgotten in game due to emotions, tunnel vision, etc etc. Will follow your advice on making them second nature through repetition.

Who's to say how much it will help each individual person. Increased mine by 10% and btw he has over 30k battles and a pretty dam good win rate.

Love this video. Please do more. Other useful tips that can be included: learn all tanks and count enemy reload time; how to try and support team (take shots for teammate, spotting, flanking, giving instructions at start); know when not to save teammates (actually very important, sometimes saving=another dead tank); when to rush the enemy, etc.

Great post. Two points are that players interested in wr improvement should concentrate on what works for them. I had 5000 games in TDs before I realized I played Meds better. The other thing is yoloing at low tiers. Trying to get to a good position, a power position, is worth it at lower tiers, even if you are more likely to get slammed by a lemming rush when you get no support from your team. You can go down swinging and it can make the difference. Such positions are often at or near map corners, the windmill on the old Malinovka, the opposite corner on the new Malinovka, the hill on Mines though the new version is tricky, and across the river on Port Bay.

This might seem irrelevant, but I find that playing strategy games like Metal Gear Solid or XCOM really help me with the idea of flanking and taking cover. And there's quite a lot that can be applied to WOTB.

1. No yolo 2. Move through the cover 3. Be creative 4. Usually watch mini map 5. Brawling but be taken damage as less as possible

Thankyou for pointing out the pervasive nature of some players to be kill vultures in game, by this I mean they wait till you have whittled an enemy tank down to a hp they can decimate and take your kill. Very sneaky and imho grimey team play.

Well, one way to get awesome wr is to play 3 battles, get lucky and never play again....trust me, it worked out for some in my clan...(do you know if there is a way to kick out officers?)

Lol first part is something i learned, play a couple great games a day and just calm down and focus, 2nd part is personally as clan lead you can demote or kick dep leads but if your a dep lead you can report another leads actions to the clan lead and hopefully get what you want out of it.

Bushka as always great advice. I have been trying to incorporate this into my game. The good my win rate is .017 percent in just a few days. Yeah for me. The bad. Now I am getting dinged for inactivity. I am just trying to get my win rate to 44 percent and increase my survival rate at this point.

Bushka if there were no rushers the campers will be screwed so its important to not too much camp or too much rush u need to combine those two things. Like if u are in a light tank rush somewhere where u will camp and spot for ur team.

Bushka, another thing i rlly want to say adding to ur pts is that in my experience, dont play if matchmaking is terrible xD. if u r constantly getting ppl who cant play, simply stop for a few hrs and come back later. sometimes winning too much will get u bad matchmaking. this tactic boost my win rate quite a bit :D

very nice vid. when I started watching your channel a few months ago, one of the first thing I stopped doing was driving full speed at the reds. now I am a much better player, about 53% WR. I'd probably be 45% WR noob if it wasn't for you. I think I play better than my WR suggests, but my record is scarred with 1000s of battles I played while still a noob. please do one of these for heavy tanks, keep up the great vids! 😀

Genny Keling win rate is a baf way of judging peoples' skill rate. After all you may be a fantastic player and the rest of the team may be rubbish. I see it quite a few times where the reds leave the best player to last then mob him. If you have 3 to 4 tanks hitting you from all directions, you are going to be slaughtered.

I notice most people are stuck on WR. But I check stats of every post game and most players have jacked up there WR buy playing mostly tier 5-7 so they are veteran players running against newbies so easy wins

I do everything you mentioned, even this morning my whole team was dead in under 2 minutes, facing 5 enemy in an AT15 I did my best, top scored, died and then was called a noob. So frustrating.

I didnt start getting better until I stopped trying to get XP across ALL my tanks every night, but just started playing one tank. For me its about getting in the zone on one tank... tough balance because I'm trying to get all the crew skills up to level 7. Either way, still have massive amounts of fun despite all the aholes in the game

Was a 48% player before I found Bushka. Watched all of his videos and learned from them. :P Switched servers and tried again. 61% after 2k games. xD

Ahmed Bhatti It'll be truly rewarding if you didn't switch servers, most of the fairly experienced players were found out to have about 20% WR increased after switching servers or getting new accounts.

I was a 45wr player in 9 months I have gone up to 58wr but I am more difficult to to get higher it seems like every percent I go up it gets harder to excel up any suggestions

Bushka a clan mate told me WR was not based on the percentage of games u won overall, but the percentage of games u win in all tanks, if this is true is it also true for everything else in statistics?

oh bushka i watched a video of yours a long time ago and it said to pay attention to the mini map. well my win rate went from 43% to 53% from keeping an eye on the mini map

First, I would like to congratulate Bushka for doing this video series. These are just a few of the many things that players need to do to become uni's. It is a long, painful process, but once you learn how to utilize these tactics, then the game becomes much easier. Second, for all the people saying that any single metric is the most important statistic, you're wrong. No single statistic is the end all be all. In order to judge skill, you must look holistically at the whole stats page. For example, I know players that have a 70% WR with 35k battles but 34k out of 35k are played in tier 2 and 3. As you can see, WR can be easily manipulated. However, If you are looking for a decent "first glance" metric, I suggest going onto www.wotbstars.com and looking at your STAR1 ranking. Unlike www.blitzstars.com, the STAR1 ranking that face4star's website offers provides a much better approximation of skill as it factors in your platoon rate and and average tier as well as your damages, win rate, and survival rate, etc... STAR1 is the most comprehensive metric Blitz has right now.

I keep distance from durp guns and use my team as meat shield . i keep counting tanks and making sure i am not flanked . But when i dont see all the enemy's infront of me . so i tell my team to push and i lead them in fear from being surrounded . I actually use the centurion 1 O got up from 47.00 to 49.67 in 2 days

Buffalocat C: Good platoon mate, with additional pair of maxed out Luchses. No matter the tier top, no matter the awful team, it feels like I'm getting 80% WR if only the battles in Luchs platoon are counted, I'm not joking. It got buffs but is still a sealclubber especially when platooned in pairs. Plus, switch ammo wisely to keep your credits from decreasing.

after a few years an a thousands of battles I finally did it. I went from ~5k battles and 47% to 16k battles and 60.5% career :)

I just hit 10k game Feb 20th.. but I JUST learned about camo reset, & before that I yolo'd battles just to complete the mission I needed to complete. I am now that DUMMY trying hard to fix his 43% WR. Good news is 3 weeks ago I had 43.35% and my WR goes up . 01% every 3-4 WINS.. no losses.. and now I'm at 43.97% and consistently improving it! 👍😊

This is true and this is what i learned myself back in 2015 but when your team dies instantly and they all do 600dmg or less and I end up with 4k still doesnt win me the game, i know players with 2k avg 15k+battles but 45wr
