Dont forget that you can buy alpine tiger for 8k bonds and its one of the most expensive tank so when exchanging you get a nice discount in gold (only available on tier 8 tanks tho) you can get elc for 300 golds for example

I'm stuck between 122tm or 274a. I love the gun of 122tm but the DPM is killing it, 274a has bad gun handling but good DPM. idk what to choose lol

It just depends on what playstyle you would like. 274a is faster than 122, so it's better for brawling. 122 is very slow, feels like a heavy tank, slow to relocate. Better for sniping or peaking. Regarding armor, both tanks will not bounce anything over 200 pen

@@Asky_ I agree. It funny, because I played the 274a as aa rental and it felt so slow. And the gun handling is trash. 122 has bad dpm, but way better gun handling. 122TM doesn't feel that slow too me personally. I don't think the 274a is much faster. Somehow 122TM just works for me most of the time despite shitty dpm.

122tm is rock solid, even in tier 10 matchmaking. Better 3 safe pen shots per Minute than 6 times bounce/miss/bounce. The dpm of 122tm is real, other tanks just have higher dpm on the paper. Its so relaxing to play, go for it

Put bond turbo, rammer and vents on 122tm, use food and a good. The tank becomes one of the best t8 mediums, completely crushing outdated tanks like sta2, panther 8,8, t54 prot and many more.

I have never done trades even when they started doing it. Over the last few years they always do trades before a loot box event. Always feels like they set it up that way to put tanks you just dumped in the boxes.

I agree the Hawk 30 is a good tank, but if there is only one light on each team you'll be up against an ELC which means you're fucked most the time because if you try and hunt it you'll die cause you're huge in comparison and they'll just auto lock you, while you get "armour not hit!"

You probably have 703 as a rental tank in this case (you can't trade it until you play x battles with it or the rent expires).

As the other comment said, remove 703 from your rentals and it will appear in shop for trade in, even if the rental is expired you still cant buy it till you remove the rental

Strv m42 is a very nice tank with high DMG rounds. AP Amx30 is also very very nice - fast, good gun handling if you aim in, spot ability,..

The Dicker Max would perform much better as a support TD than a sniper TD. Although there's time to be a support TD and other times a sniper TD.

honestly, the t34-85m is far better tier for tier, so you can get more exp out of it than the 274a, while also not having to worry about crew skills that much since tier 6 is very forgiving

Overall a good review, but the focus on bonds vs gold, and tier 8 credit printer vs tier 7 and 6 is unfortunate. whether someone wants to spend bonds or gold is immaterial. Just focus on the tank. And whether they print credits better or worse is not the sole factor and should not detract from the qualities of the tank. like the Pudel for example. To me it would be a plus that I can get a VK in premium form. I can put a high skill crew in it without any trouble of retraining or spending crew books, and I can sell the tech tree one for some much needed silver. And I'd rather spend my bonds on bond equip or truly rare tanks instead of tanks I can buy for gold.

I have been stung one too many times to ever purchase another premium tank. Owning a grand final version and then being awarded with the non grand final tank in a loot box was the last straw for me. In my opinion War Gaming just lost regular money from me for the short term profit.

Yeah, I don't trade them in as it is win win for WG. They get you to spend half credit, throw the top returned vehicles into the next lootbox batch of tanks, and they'll reskin some of the others to lower your chances to get the new tank.

Bad problem is all the tanks WG adds that are copy paste, same as ones you already have just different style so now you have to own the same tank multiple times to keep from getting them in the loot box's. WG knows what they are doing and how it screws us by doing it

I traded the TS-5 (slow and peeps just spam gold at you) for the WZ-120-1G FT (faster and better camo) and am massively impressed. I feel like an olympic sprinter with a boom stick!

I would ratler compare T77 to AMX 50B, than T57. T57 is lose range dpm monster with mediocre speed. T77 is fast heavy with bad DPM. Plastyle is more comparable with 50B in my opinion.

My two cents: Hwk 30 is actually strong and extremely fun to play. Lowe might be worth it too. 122 TM is good, but you can also just get the T-34-3 for bonds. Yes, there are differences, but you have a similar play style where you have to play off your aplha.
