The UDES is great in open country but not so good on city maps or small 600m-800m maps. not to good at close quarters fighting, it's deadly at long range, but when it's in your favour it's the BEST!

Don't forget that the SU-101 now has access to the 122mm M62-C2 gun. 440 Alpha. 258mm Pen. 2200 DPM. QB, any chance you could do a review or showcase on the SU-101 with the 122mm gun?

When it was first introduced into the test server when that TD line was released, it did have it. However, it was removed upon release and it didn't have that particular 122mm gun added back to it until recently. One or two patches ago if I recall. So, the tank spent a year or two without that gun initially.

Yomir Kun well I did think before I talked and you don't need to be so rude, and it's a Swede TD crew so it would've only been in other Swede TDs. 2 steel walls in total in Swedish TDs is pretty impressive.

i love my UDES. It was a strange TD to drive in when i first got it but after many games ive gotten used to it. The only buff i want is to buff the hull armor to like 30 or 35mm if they arent bringing back the reworked overmatch mechanics anytime soon. As a trade off itll loses some mobility for the extra weight

At one point the camo on this tank gets so good you can invisifire along corridors in Himmelsdorf if you're far enough.

After getting the strv tanks, I dont regret selling the udes one bit. Bouncing all autoloader heavy tanks was such a surprise at tier 9. The only really novel thing about this tank is peeking over obstacles by aiming down and raising the rear, get a shot off and immediately hide back down by exiting siege mode

What I heard is that Swedish TD is pretty much like an "experimental" line for WG, they want to see how "pneumatic" features works in WoT. If I remember it correctly in one of their video, their future plans is to add tanks with pneumatic suspension into WoT, and probably reworked the current tanks which not have it yet. BUT that's like waaayyyy in the future.

imagine an STB-1 with siege mode with 20km/h speed limits and zero gun bloom and 0.3 accuracy while in siege mode.... "stb-1 has bad gun handling" what now?

Agreed, WT just did that, and its looks absolutly awesome. WG should implement that someway, becouse the STB-1 is just a almost a "same" tank as the Cent AX with a small differences. But with the pneumatic system would be a whole differend playstyle and maybe more ppl would start grinding over it.... anyway, just an idea.

I did 4,977 damage in a game and got 5 kills, I used a x5 xp booster too and it was my first win of the day so x2 again 12,998 xp, 47k silver UDES is godly in the right conditions

I go for net rammer and vents on my udes, I never want to be in a situation where im spotting my own targets and usually if it gets to that stage the likelihood of the binos saving me is pretty low

The camo on this is silly high. Only TD I've gotten 10K spotting on. Tho the good thing about this vs the tier 9/10 is since the gun is not locked to the hull and you can move it a bit up and back down again. So you don't have to use siege mode for those 1 shots and pull back deals over a ridge line all the time. So you don't stay exposed longer then you have to. Sure the reload and aim time is longer. But for 1 shot and back again, it usually don't matter.

The STB-1 (or Type 74 MBT as you will probably find it) DOES have a pneumatic suspension.

Kind of like me and my strv S1 "this is my bush, there are many like it but this one is mine, without me, my bush is useless, without my bush I am useless." I've loved the strv S1 so much that I've decided to grind the swedish tank destroyer line. The IKV 65 has been the hardest tank to get past. as somebody in the top poster says though, the amount of people that ping you when you're camping gets annoying, do they not know that the tank is made of tin foil.

I remember that game when my team spotted a good player on UDES 03 on the start of the match. The guy was in siege mode and didn't move, so I gave him a 155mm gift with my M12 -> 1k DMG for free

I'll tell u what I think when I eventually grind my way past the Ikv90 TypB. It seems to take a long time to go from tier7 to tier 8 on the Swedish line, I'm almost past the Leo too which I don't think much of. It seems like everything gets much more interesting and competitive once u get to tier 8 and I'm looking forward to it. Hope it's not just a case of the grass being greener but I don't think so.

Wouldn’t camo net and binos be useless because if u move they get canceled and the tank has no gun traverse so if u even want to adjust your aim u have to reset your camo net and binos? Or does it not get reset if ur in siege mode?

Howitzer no, it doesn’t get reset while turning left and right and up and down in siege mode, but if you you move (you go back or move forward) it reset).

but if you leave siege mode you are a stationary target for two seconds rather than moving in to cover resulting in less and less of the tank being visible

Patience is a hard skill to master. You want to be "on the ball" and pay attention to what's going on and look for good dmg, but at the same time you don't want to kemp bush all day either.

Udes has better dpm when i trained crew it has 6.5 s reload that gives it 9.2 rounds per minute

Actually, the MT-25 has a less-than-60mm-gun, so actually you CAN bounce a shot in the UDES.

The swedish tds are unique in that turning the tank doesn't reset the camo net and other equipment

Its great TD but dont get to overexcited guys. ANYTHING WITH 150MM HE can one shot you. Almost any tier 7 arty can oneshot you. Its great for experieced players, not for beginners. BUT GOD DAMN ITS FUN TO PLAY TD :D

WhiteBones The ELC AMX has even less armor than this and at least it can bounce lower tier vehicles due to its extreme angling but the ELC can't.

x and t-dog gaming the tier 5 is a meme tank and I hated the tier 6 and the tier 7 I found my missing a lot of shots and hiding behind my teamates a lot

so I was firing HE shells at this tank in the side(to be fair he was angled 45 degree) in my Foch but they were not penning... was hitting it for like 70 180 and lower 100 s on the third shot. He was far away to be fair but HE shells didn't lose pen I thought, so what was I doing wrong? Not sure I understand the overmatch mechanics.

Ghaz3k Well, learn about UDES 03 then, it has some spaced armor on the side, by the way, if you want to know more, it has tracks like other's, so that means, tracks are like spaced, you do less damage.

If you hit the tracks which 50% of its side is, its not going to penetrate. You have to aim above them. It's as easy as that.
