Is it just me, or is the music this time around MUCH better than it's ever been? I mean, WoW has always had decent music, but this newest stuff has soul and feeling that I've never heard in the game before.

Ever since I've started playing WoW 8 years ago I have been in love with the music in the game and been heavily inspired by it. Back then, these soundtracks influenced the songs I wrote for my metalband very much, even if this music genre may seem very different than metal to some. Nowadays, I'm a fairly new video-game composer, writing for various indiegames. But the same still stands true, the music I write is still influenced by these soundtracks, extremely much. They inspired me to move from my metal background and start composing orchestral soundtracks. Why do they mean so much? Because they're darn awesome and they've played a big part of my childhood. The music of Warcraft is connected to many of my memories that I have as a child. My memories from WoW include tons of feelings, which I'll gladly put into my music. Both in my individual albums, but also into other games. I hope everyone is having a blast with WoD!

People can bash all they want on this expansion but the music that came with it was by far the best IMO.

I hate how I always feel like crying when listening to WoW soundtracks, this isn't just a game, it's a whole new reality and a world we live in and I feel like I'm trapped in it, building up so many memories, making friends, literally living in it and not wanting to leave it, ever.

52:37 is one of the most beautiful things ever. That and the whole Spires of Arak zone theme. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. WoD has my favorite music from any expansion.

While WoWs soundtrack has always been good, never before had it been something I couldn't get out of my mind-until WoD. This soundtrack is just the most amazing thing ever

Rise of the Dark is so far my favorite. Right at 1:19:32 I almost wiped my group because I was so into the music in the Iron Docks dungeon. So awesome.

I stopped playing, not because I don't like the game, I love it. The story is amazing, the soundtrack is just beautiful and you can delve into that universe and let go of real life lol (Sounded to virgin like. xD) But the community is just like any other MMO / MOBA community these days. Toxic and nothing but people yelling at you and threatening you on your life if you dare to make even a single mistake or you forget a tactic or something. Players take these games way too seriously and that killed it for me. I will come back if they make a new expansion or I see a huge content update. But only to play the single player quests. I am done with raiding. period.

I've said in this in many videos before but i personally dont think WoD was a failure,only thing that failed it was maybe the endless grinding in Tanaan jungle and no other content after 6.2. When 6.2 was launched i was forced into army so i really got nothing from it and that's why i still think WoD was an awesome expansion with it's beautyful soundtracks that give me chills everytime and almost put a tear in my eye. I wish i could've been there when 6.2 was out for all of us.

i honestly gotta say that 20:40 Wolf at the Gates is my fav soundtrack of them all with 1:22:48 Stormlords in second! :D just so good!

Draenor is an amazingly well designed world. Spires of Arak is just mind blowing. Descending into the jungle is an experience. Somehow I'm not driven to explore the world like I have been before though. I remember glitching up the mountains in wetlands (near the red whelpling farm) just to get a peek at the elite dragons beyond the gate. Maybe I've just gotten older.

The times change and Gorgrond are my favorite for sure but this entire OST is amazing. One of the many reasons WOD is the best expansion ever. The soundtrack def has alot of up and downs in it. This whole expansion is pretty dark and emotional compared to the others I keep thinking about Dark Souls while im playing its that depressing. Especially the spires of arak

This soundtrack reeks of baddass.No other WoW soundtrack has had this amount of intensity when the situation just got real. The voice acting is STELLAR,the enviroments are beautiful,The story is fucking awesome! But again,the music!Its always changiojng,always befitting of an area.It is the music of war.True war! And when it is not,it is beautiful,tranquil,and still badass.

Not to throw shade on anybody else's opinions, but, for me, WoD's soundtrack is the best, followed closely by legion - despite quitting wow in MoP. This is so well crafted!

For those of you WOW fan kids of this new generation, i"m just kidding, but you might not know. That Blackrock theme 48:10 is full of Warcraft 3 tease mix of Orc & Human theme start with Horde end with Alliance awesome mix. Oh man, full of old memory how i first know Blizzard and the origin of Warcraft which WOW got so many inspiration from. All the heroes....all the lores. Warlords of Draenor by far has the best soundtrack of all expansion. I swear whoever compose these must had played Warcraft III. Jeremy Soul level right here.

Been playing from the start, loved TBC/WOTLK OST, they were up there for me but then I heard this OST and it kicked my ass. incredible job by Blizzard again.

50:00 the only incredibly amazing moment in W3 soundtrack. In one hand its kinda sad they must go back to make the best OST in the game, in the other hand, the good part is that is simply amazing.

The music in wow, since the begining, is of an incredible quality. The music is simply marvellous.

I kinda feel sad that the overall WoW soundtrack is for a video game. The composers should've got an award for the soundtrack, there are some pure gold music in here.
