Bismarck is an awesome ship indeed :) I started with Germany too and really enjoy it - though now if I play (and I do casually) I am almost always piloting the Schlieffen.

I may get back into it again soon!

So, yes and no. No because it won’t contribute directly to the xp you will need for the next ship in line. Yes because it can get you a lot more xp and free xp (you can pay doubloons to convert the xp of a premium ship into free xp) and then you can use that free xp to research new ships. So, it’s a double edged sword. It will get you xp faster, but you have to convert that xp into free xp which costs money. If you don’t mind doing that, you can progress faster. I hope this helps!

Tough question. It really depends on your play style. I find that Germany tends to have VERY good battleships, US and UK both have solid cruisers, Japan has amazing destroyers and for subs I’d probably give it to Germany as well. For aircraft carriers I’d not recommend playing them but if you want to both US and Japan have good options :)

Sorry for the late reply. To research a new ship, you must use ship XP gained by only the previous ship in the line, and/or free xp.

I actually did that. I’m not sure about 25 hours, but if you haven’t spent any money and want to have a do over then that’s definitely not a bad idea :) I didn’t really think many people would watch these videos, and heard that a lot of people stopped playing, so other than time constraints those were the big reasons I didn’t make any more of them. You have to spend ship XP in the ship tree to research new ships and then you can buy them directly with credits. There are also ships in the ship tree you can buy with a lot of free XP I’d you have that. Otherwise, doubloons or coal in the armoury :)
