The Amagi is surprisingly good now - when they handed that camo for free when you logged on enough days in the month it gave a reason to grind the ship, and I was pleasantly surprised with how it performs. Those guns hit hard, are fairly precise, and it’s also relatively fast. If you preserve your HP, you can also brawl towards the end of the match. The Anhalt I have changed opinion quite a bit on. When it was first released I didn’t get along with it at all as the play style is so different from other German BBs. But when I revisited it after playing some slower BBs for a while, man can this thing pack a punch. If you have something like Lütjens with the heavy AP ammo and APCS, the damage you can do with it at range punching through deck armour is impressive. Atlantico is still ridiculous, though it is at least a bit less ridiculous than it used to be. When they nerfed it, I found if you train the commander to lvl 12 you can offset a significant chunk of the deck protection nerf, and my average damage didn’t really change all that much despite the main gun nerf because the bulk of the damage is from the secondaries anyway… I just refuse to play it now, but I still see kaga+atlantico teams regularly… Bayard is a great ship, it’s a bit like the Colbert at t10, very delicate but if you know how to play it you can do a lot of damage with it over time. But if a BB so much as looks at you when you happen to show slightly too much broadside a journey back to port is almost guaranteed. 😂 Brandenburg I find hard to get enthused by. I know it has its fans, but it’s kind of a jack of all trades, master of none ship - Bismarck has better guns, and I’d pick Odin or Black Bismarck over a Brandy for brawling.

Black Admiral Hipper is absolutely competitive! You still have precise aim, and you trade a sonar charge for a radar, making you incredibly well rounded. It is the best of the 3 in that class, and they all hold their own if you know how to play cruiser. The torps are often overlooked, but if you wander too close, they do a ton of damage. If you must put one in a low category, it should be Prinz Eugen because the air defense makes no sense.....

As to Atlantico I've been playing T8 ranked & I.. SPOILERS!!! Prefer Roma. I use Atlantico as a backup or when DDs are thick😊

It's quite easy to sink Schill with the Hipper and Black Hipper. I have sunk three or four Schills with my Black Hipper

Are we going to sleep on the fact that Assashio has the longest torpedo range of any ship in the game? You can literally dump torpedoes at the beginning of the match forget about them and then hit things on the other side of the map a minute later. Give it a little more credit lol
