Remember the Stealthingrad? Well, I'm now obviously obliged to do the opposite, and what better ship to grab the katana, hoist the flag and lead the charge, guns blazing, than the tier 7 Japanese mainline destroyer.
What do you mean, they've meant to be sneaky and the guns are crap? Since when has that stopped me :)

Akatsuki is one of those Destroyers that I enjoy gunning down enemy Destroyers in. It’s got 6 guns. They hit hard too. I play it more like a fast Sims.

Well my best IJN destroyer is kitakaze..well who says they're sneaky..😛.. IJN torpedo destroyer- I am going to be a gun ship. IJN gun destroyer- hey don't took my jobe. Unemployment is very high.

Akatsuki means red moon, aka means red and tsuki is moon

The Akatsuki is just a better Fubuki, with better HP Pool and speed. Just perfect for Banzai charge!!! BTW, I like the Izyaslav too, the Soviet Tier 4 Destroyer. I got my first Kraken Unleashed with this thing. Damn short ranged and low damage torpedoes, but effective for Banzai charges. Five 100 mm guns, with exactly 7 km range without any camo, pretty nice things to chunk out a good amount of damage. I had my by far best battle in it. 52K damage, 5 ships sunk, First Strike, Kraken Unleashed, Iron Fortress, No Mercy, Big Game Hunter, Battle Star received. Missed the Confederate by mere millimetres LOL. Pretty nice battle without the Confederate too, don't you think? That ship is the best lower tier Banzai Charger I guess. 😁😁

The lower-tier Soviet DDs are a huge amount of fun, to a large degree due to the fact that they're lower tier - people have not yet learned to steer and shoot at the same time. Around tier 7 it starts getting more difficult.

When shooting at the Cleveland you need Cayuga shells. You know, named after the river that caught fire.

@@internetdude5735 The Cayuga which flows through Cleveland in the early 70s was so polluted that the pollutants caught fire. They had a hell of a job putting it out. Cleveland believe of or not gets less sunny days a year than Seattle

@@FunandGameswithTerry That would be interesting. We know the Graf Zeppelin is basically a light cruiser with a flat top. I know this goes against your code of playing tech tree ships you haven't unlocked, but the USS Lexington has eight 127mm guns. I've finished off battleships with Lexington guns before (Very low health BBs).

Yes, Aka can banzai, but have you seen an angry Asashio banzai'ing straight to you with 3 sets of 4x~4000 torpedos? You know how scary that is? You can get one shotted, and sent straight back to port p.s. can you banzai with an ohktohnik? That would be incredibly

I know, right? I was surprised as well to see this work. Although it doesn't always, this build relies on the enemy team not focusing you down. If there are cruisers around that know what they're doing, it's a lot harder. For me it's more the speed that was surprising me. Also, keep in mind that this was with the IFHE skill.
