Thanks mate, much appreciated! Good point actually, I forgot to mention that she gets a 50% silver bonus, rather than the usual 25%, but no XP bonus in return. Although I find these days that silver really isn't the problem. I really need to do a video on economics :)

Yeah, it seems a lot, but consider the amount of free XP you get from the league rank every month, that can add up pretty quickly. I'm almost back to 100k again just from that and normal gameplay. I didn't use gold to convert (way too expensive), but free XP tended to accumulate anyway - don't forget to use boosters, especially on premium ships with first victory bonus. That all adds up rather quickly.

Yes, overpens can still hurt - it's a question of how much health you have and how much the DD does. HE, on the other hand, is just so much more satisfying :)

No British shell was nearly 1 ton and American at 1.25 ton Not double

I was sorely disappointed the first few games, until I noticed the penetrating power of the HE shells. I mean you've seen the full HE pens at 10km range against USN BBs, but the APs just bounce. There are rare occasions when I use them, like light cruisers or CVs broadsiding at around 6km, then they do hit hard and citadel. I've gotten the occasional citadel with the HE shells as well, though.

Any particular kind or tier? I play DDs rather different between nations. I could do Kagero or Aka, Sims, Nicholas from the tech tree, or a Minsk (I think I did a video of a Gnevny a while ago), or lower-tier stuff as well - DDs are prime sealclubbing material :)

I happily play 5-8 I.e. Sims, Fubuki, Akatsuki, Leningrad (which turns like a barn) Mahan. Anything really but I don’t have higher tier dds yet.

I think I actually have a Leningrad laying around, as well as a Kamikaze from the recent event. Plenty of options :)

She's not one of my frequently ships. I've got 68 battles in her, with a 60.29% WR and 52k average damage. My overall WR is at 63.17%, so Nelson is slightly sub-par. I play her sometimes for fun. Is she worth 300k free XP? Wouldn't spend it again if I hadn't had them laying around anyway. But she's certainly not a ship that I dislike - there are others that are much more frustrating. All in all, I'd say average. Probably her best feature is the 50% silver bonus - I use her sometimes if I'm low on cash, with high-level boosters.
