We all had the trollish dispersion once where the ship you needed to kill was at 12km and all the shells went all over the place but not on the target. The Russian BB line have a very special gimmic with the dispersion on PC, is it the same as on blitz ( playing the low tier RU BB I didn’t have the impression that the range mattered since at low tier dispersion is terrible sometimes), so it would be cool to find this out. I'm guessing in addition to sigma values by ship, there's a shorthand in the game for different range brackets. You can kind of see the when the shells exit the barrel. On longer range shots they seem to be in a much wider dispersal pattern when they leave the barrels.

Thank you for looking at the effect of precise aim. I am very surprised at the positive effects. I previously thought it made a very small difference. Of course, my aim at distance might be very bad. Perhaps it’s like Murphy’s Law. (If you aren’t familiar with the reference, the first rule is that whateve r can go wrong will go wrong.) The corollary for WoWsB might be whenever you aim at a distant ship, your salvos will perfectly bracket the target but never hit it.

The artillery expert skill gives -3% dispersion when above 75% hp ☺️ Happy holidays everyone 🎄

Great info Terry!! I always try to use Roar of Steel on my higher tier ships that havent gotten historical camo yet and it seems to help. Its a big help on the Smolensk, Worcester and Minnesota!! Merry Christmas Terry!!🎄

I think it would have been interesting to see how the dispersion buffs worked without the precise aiming skill. I'm still miffed at how they screwed the Republique. No reason for me to grind the French BB line anymore.

Merry Christmas🎄🍻🎅🏻 Hey bro, much appreciate for such valuable info👍🙏, in my NA server account I grinned 3,line based on my experience on other servers , Moskva,République and Vermont … but unfortunately WG nerfed them all 😂. In case of Moskva and République it was terrible 🥴. I hope in next update they compensate this changes , eg. increase sigma to 1.7 instead of 1 and also about disp. It would be my pleasure,If you need me for measuring the disp. using training mode great job as always mate🙏🙏👍👍

Usually with the Vermont line I aim at the water line, which in turn I land more shells. Where that doesn’t work with other ships. But anyways I’ve heard a rumor that adding range in modules an or camos also increases your dispersion however an ever so slightly. Think there is any factual info to this?

Need a video on fire chance. I keep getting lit from dds that have 4 percent fire chance and they've only hit me with 3 or 4 salvos and I have 3 fires. Seems like the math is wrong.

i can live with bad dispersion...what i cannot stand is the awful matchmaking i wish someone would explain how 7 t7 ships get matched with 7 t8 ships, including a squad of 3 romas !!! what kind of sick equation gives you this output lol
