World of Warships Blitz Roles - Scout Cruiser

The final destroyer role is the "scout cruiser", or destroyer leader - not usually a dedicated tech tree branch, but a selection of ships that is sufficiently different from the others that they deserve their own role.

When I get into the Aki, I usually pretend to be in a light cruiser. It's a good mindset to be, since you don't have the agility to dogfight DDs, but kiting away, you can be deadly

Although rare, it is possible to achieve “critical damage” against a Destroyer. Basically a destroyers version of getting citadeled.

I think the best thing to do is list the ships that wargaming hasn’t screwed us over with “turrets reversing” when your still looking on same side. Dumbest thing in this game right now.

Im new with blitz. And world of warship itself. But im a wot and wotb player. I chose french cruisers and id like to ask for tips about them. I like cruisers in general. Theyre sexy and petite.

French cruisers have pretty good speed, fire chance and torpedoes. Armour, not so much. Starting at tier 7, the line switches from light to heavy cruisers. They require careful positioning, especially in higher tiers, where they lose mobility and face large calibre battleship guns. I would personally classify them more as attack cruisers than support, since they don't have much utility, but are focused on dealing damage. Certainly up to T6, they are among the best CLs. Remember to switch to AP against destroyers with the 150mm.
