Cossack is definitely the best choice. Hood I swapped a bunch of coal for because I had close to 800,000K coal in storage, and Warspite I just went ahead and bought outright for my birthday to get the value back in doubloons to spend later (usually on a discounted Black Friday ship in my case). But yeah I have no interest in this thing and not much more in Indomitable.

And that puts the nail in the coffin for this event as I already have the Cossack. I really think the Nottingham is a pass.

@@ashleighelizabeth5916 I was actually around during the British DD release event and I did so well in that event that I managed to bag both Warspite and Cossack from it. It's really sad that there's not much reason to grind for this event.

Most British ships are underwhelming.

Hampshire getting a buff on reload and pen should help it a bit, but a heal would have been nice.

They already made a torpedo focused cruiser line with the jinan, idk why they're having so much trouble making new lines now.

Yeah but the IJN CLs are good. With high fire starting chance on their HE, great torpedoes, good maneuverability, and they are pretty fast. So while they don't have the armor of the CAs, they are great for kitting. This thing is just good at dying.

@@magnomalous The Pan Asian line though is not good for DDs because of the deep water torps, so they are pretty useless there, and they are pretty easily avoided if you are playing a DD as they are pretty visible. I have Jinan and I hate that thing. It's not as good as Austin, and worse than Worcester. Jinan is about the most useless CL in the game.

don't forget the, Pan-Asian line which are arguably the best torp cruisers in the game.

It IS tissue paper, but besides gunboat DDs, the guns do great work against DDs (At less than 10k unless you can aim), you can farm BBs, have a GREAT area denial capability, and the torps are no joke. OH, and they chew aircraft up. You CAN have some absolute shit games with the tier 9 and 10, Pan-Asian line but you can also have some pretty phenomenal games as well. They DO rely on a half ass team since besides the defensive fire and smoke, they don't have defensive abilities (hydro and radar). Again, those torps and considering they are supposed to be torp CLs, they do a damned good job of that. I am not claiming to be a Unicum player (50% win rate), but they work just fine. Maybe, I am biased because, I got three dev strikes in one torp salvo (with TRB), but Double strikes with their torps isn't all that uncommon either.

Like the Nottingham should've been given a little more armor.

@@merafirewing6591 - So many possibilities. More armour, a smaller citadel, or even a couple of heals. The AA is a pure 1920, 'we will put more on later' paper design, and really should have some 'what if' refit for WWII era AA like all the Russian ships tend to get, though in their case it is 1950s AA!!! It is odd that Russian ships come out and need a major nerf, while most others come out needing a buff. The game is fun, but premiums are now seldom worth bothering with. There were so many far better paths they could have chosen, but we got submarines and carriers. Sad.

There's much better cruisers for all modes. Atago is one of the oldest premiums in the game. She's still the most solid cruiser choice. Operations, ranked, and random.

@@GommunityCuidelines Cleveland is not a premium. My comment specifically referred to as premium. Also Cleveland is bad example as that is a light cruiser which plays different than a heavy cruiser. Baltimore would be a better example.

Wargaming hates Britain, most British ship range from meh to crap.

For $100? Definitely not worth it imo, if it gets released for a more normal price, maybe if you like a more open water Minotaur sans heal play style
