The S in Illinois will continued to be said until Northerners can pronounce Atchafalaya correctly And yes I meant to say 203s for the Illinois guns, not 208. I think I put 203mm and 8inch together in my ADHD brain.

I got the Roma back when you could get the "beer can" camo that boosted earnings. While the camo no-longer gives a boost, the boost that it had was transferred to its permanent bonus. Still one of the best credit earners out there since it is on par with the original Missouri.

OG Missouri is overhyped, it's only +30% additive, if you're using blue boosters for credit farming it won't make a huge difference compared to consistency you'd get with better t9s.

I agree with you that Azuma's guns are great. I was in one game where a same tier BB came around an island and my Azuma caught his flat broadside. Luckily I had AP loaded. Three citadels later he was on the bottom screaming that I cheated (and reported) because there was no way cruisers HE could citadel his BB. I told him I was firing AP and he said there was no way that an Azuma could be loaded with AP.

Well, for mediocre players such as myself the Azuma is very difficult to play. Not easy to get damage when you show a little (just a little) broadside and you get sent to the bottom on a citadel hit (it is WAY above the waterline). The Agir for me is a better choice - more HP, a little less accurate (a bit more horizontal and vertical dispersion, but the same sigma). Big difference is the HP shells - Agir's cause 30% less damage. But I can make a mistake in the Agir and survive it, not very likely in the Azuma.

I think Iwami with a secondary build is better than Azuma. You get a fairly durable tier IX battleship, decent main guns, secondaries out to 10.5km and to top it all off, torps that can go out to 20km. It works real good for Asymmetric Battles.

I always get consistent credit income from the premium CVs. They do extremely well because you're constantly up-tiered, so you get that bonus in addition to everything else. I'm a CV main though so yeah... I think in the end, you gotta pick a ship that compliments your play style. If you're a BB main and pick up a DD for the sole purpose of printing credits, you might be surprised how little you earn in the beginning. For example, I own the T8 Japanese premium cruiser Atago, and I earn more credits in my t6 submarine on a bad day than I do in the Atago on a "good" day because I'm just that terrible with it. So definitely something to consider when thinking about spending money on a premium ship.

The azuma is a massive target with no armor and a giant citadel which is exactly why I stay 10 km away from battleships with ap loaded. You wouldn't believe how much people underestimate the pen on these things. Yes iowa, i can cit you.

Good list. Sadly Azuma depends on youre team not throwing the game within 3 minutes ^^. Cant do much yourself in terms of plays. :D But i am a lucky bastard and i have a Lenin - the only ship that i am not sad with playing against T10 and rolling with 1-1.5 mil (blue booster) out of a game very often.

keep in mind that shinonome Prinz Eugen and Warspite also had a camo that gave more credits after the shitnomic rework feels like im missing another but cant remember it

Colossus would be the only T8 I'd also include here. Reason? It DOES NOT REQUIRE SIGNALS. At all. Colossus' effectiveness is not reduced in any significant way or manner when played without all but flooding one, and just barely ~5k avg damage) running full stock. It means that (if you play CVs decently) it carries ~500k per battle under green multiplier, and the entirety of those 500k actually meets your stash, not redirected to signal replenishment.

The Forrest Sherman (t10 US gun boat DD) kinda feels like a forgotten fremium. A year ago, there wasn't a game where you didn't see one. Today? not that often. Even though it is immensely powerful, if played correctly. For me it feels like it's a very light cruiser, which can't really do cruiser things like matching other cruisers, it is slow (~30 knots), and can't do DD things. It's not very stealthy, very few torpedoes and very limited torpedo angles. All this while taking up a DD spot. If you don't have anyone to spot for you, this ship feels so miserable. And relying on other people in this game is a sure way to get sunk quickly. Thoughts?

Not worth it. I had N.C. & sold her, the shell arch is unpredictable. When you fire for example if your HUD tells you to aim for 10km, you better aim for 20 & even then the dispersion is TERRIBLE. The ship I feel is not worth the effort ^ trouble. I purchased the Massachusetts & it is a much better ship with no high shell archs,

how about Alaska ? When i play it i allways get more then 500k credits, something between 500k-1.2M credits in average i guess. i do about 80k -180k damage on average. ofc i get bad games where i do less dmg, but this more due to blow out maps and so on.

Azuma is just broke in a good way for credits. My go to for credits is Prinz Eugen in Operations. With a blue booster and premium time, it is easy to get 1 million credits a winning match.

Probably jinxing myself, but since the last economic adjustment I have not had credit issues. Prior to the adjustments I hovered between 70-90 million, now I am usually between 200-300 million. I do mostly use my premiums (t8-t10), though not making any effort to focus on printing credits. Concerning the list, I do have to disagree with the Azuma, however it is probably more a play style issue than anything else.

Azuma is a very easy to learn ship to play and earn credit, different to other ship where you have to actually learned the game like where to go, which shell to use, angling. With Azuma you only have 3 skill that you need to master: Fire accurately at range, run away, island hugging and angling to present yourself a smaller target. You always want to use HE, you always want to avoid damage, yes it is a boring ship, but it does have something for you to learn, if you learned it then you will get reward with consistent stream of credit, which others "fun to play" ship might not have when they don't have enough consistent damage / long range where they can get focused down by overextend to the enemy lines. Overall, if you want to be rich, you have to trade some of that fun while playing, which good when you consider to get the most out of the expendable bonuses.

Original Missouri is still the best credit earner, even though she is not among the best T9 ships anymore. She is still a decent ship and if you know how to play her, she can easily make more than a million credits in a good battle.

Dude, no biggy on the '44. It's doesn't change the fact that she's good at T7, but probably nowhere else. As far as your ship list, I've personally found the Mainz to be better than the Bayard (realizing "your mileage may vary"). It's not as quick as Bay, but in general, it's a tankier ship and I take less dmg. It's also got better pen, faster reload and longer range. Is there a huge difference? No, but I just earn more credits and do more dmg in it.

funny enough, my best credit making ship you spoke about in this video is the WV44, not only is that because only 1 of the ships on the actual list is available for running ops, but I also do exceptionally well with WV44 in ops despite her slow speed. Yesterday, while on half health, I managed to charge the Musashi in Newport fairly soon after she spawned, ramming the Kita escorting her, and bouncing most of Musashi's return fire while I planted shells into her cit, surviving the charge, admittedly on very low health.

Kearsarge is a pleasure to play to be honest. The US BB line of those carrier hybrids is really unpleasant. I hate fighting the Azuma, so I never buy the thing when I have the resources. On the Asia server the sniping HE spam meta is so much worse than I see in videos from the US server.

For me credits printer for each type Cruiser : Alaska (also Good team support for secure area with radar and really tanky) Battleship : Illinois (Good cruiser DPM with BB survivability) Destroyer : Groningen (Good Gunboat with peashooter XD)

That's some interesting perspective to put Azuma at number 1. I always see her as a mediocre ship, and food for almost any BB (I'm main BB player). I haven't touched her for years tho, so things might've changed with the meta

Kearsarge may be fine in random matches but in coop where matches usually last no more than 5 min. or so it's slow reload (40 seconds) means you will get off just a few salvos before match ends and thus limits it's credit earning potential. Keep that in mind if you are considering getting this ship.

to be blunt, co-op is a terrible place to grind credits. your point is valid, but remember this fact bcuz it is The Key: winning or losing does NOT affect credit income. XP doubles for a win, credits do not.

For coop, if you want some credits you need marceau level of yolo. Yolo emilio has pretty good credits/time, especially if you die early after sending out your torps so you can move to the next game.

These days I find that Napoli is a good credit printer if u do not mind a tier 10 ship. With the Pack a Punch skill you do not have to think or do too much. Marceau is good, especially for Dockyard requirements, but it is still a DD and not the best choice for credit grinding in coop.

The Alaska is my favorite credit printer , along with Benham and Kearsarge. The Kearsarge has a unique flaw, the deck does not saturate, it is stated on the WoWS wiki.

IDK if azuma is that good nowadays, played a bunch of it lately and the armour scheme is simply horrible, you can get hit in citadel from 20+km away from almost every angle from every battleship that can overmatch 27mm (408s+) and with superships overmatching every centimeter of her, its just a glass canon On the plus side, the weapons are pretty good, if you get a game that you are not the focus (1 in 20 games) you can easily do a lot of damage and the AP is pretty good also

How do you correctly pronounce Des Moines, and screw up Illinois? The 's' is silent, like both in Des Moines. Okay, fun fact. East of the Appalachians most names are English or AmerInd. West of the Appalachians and around the Mississippi, the names are French or AmerInd. In the Great Plains to the California coast, the names are Spanish.

Des Moines guns are 203mm, not 208mm. The US has never used a 208mm gun....sounds like a Russian caliber 😂

How about a list of "best all around guns"? Meaning that the AP and HE both perform well and the ship is effective against DDs , cruisers and battleships. For the destroyers some thing like Kleber comes to mind. Stalingrad, Thunderer etc

Wtf happened that u use rangemod when having 20km range+ spotterplane to increase range when needed? Reload mod is just far better but ok :). And u shouldnt forget that Napoli and Moskva get 50% base creditincomeboost which makes them extremely good creditfarmers especially if u do not have those huge boosters + for me they are some of my best and most fun ships especially the Napo.

Eh, torps than only hit two out of five classes. Not sure about that. It is a good ship imo, but when you’re trying to credit farm, being limited to primarily damaging BBs and CVs isn’t ideal
