@Adrian Low I obviously touched a nerve there, because I felt I had made my point quite fairly, politely and balanced. It was intended as constructive feedback. Absolutely fair enough if there's no going back with Vilip, however I think you should at least acknowledge that he was a major reason why you have such a strong and hard-earned KZfaq following. Many of us were big fans of Vilip, so of course we really miss him and it's so sad that the chemistry you both had in front of camera will no longer be happening. It was unmissable. While your sarcasm about the channel being free and not paid for, thus you owe us nothing, is largely correct, perhaps you should also consider that your subscribers do invest their time in watching your content, rather than something else, so in a sense that's an equal partnership isn't it. Anyway, I'll leave it there, keep watching and hope you find someone else with Vilip's on screen qualities and entertainment value. I imagine that's not easy.

@@MrCatalysis101 My reply to you was perhaps a bit terse, though the content is accurate. I have acknowledged multiple times, on camera as well as in person, both in Vilip's presence and without, that he was indeed a vital part of the success of the channel. Two things can be true at the same time; he can be charismatic and entertaining, and simultaneously not a person I can work with anymore. You may know that I had originally intended to do a video explaining why I had to fire him (note, fire, not let him go. This is not a difference without a distinction). I thought I owed it to his fans. I finally decided that I would not make things more difficult for him as I ultimately still care for him, even if his actions over the years didn't warrant it. While I deeply appreciate our viewers and their support, partly because the channel allows us to support the charities I care about, and partly because we get good exposure, in the end, I cannot force anyone to watch, to support us, or to like us. You choose to watch us because we either provide you with some information, entertainment or both. Again, it is always your choice. If we no longer provide either to your satisfaction, then unfortunately we will lose you as a viewer. I will keep trying to do the best we can, and hope we win more than we lose I am regretful if my tone was somewhat harsh in my original reply. But if you knew the circumstances behind his firing, perhaps you would not be as supportive and calling me to bring him back. If there was a nerve touched, perhaps it was this one

If you like exciting, sonus is never going to be that, really. Exciting is focal/b&w bread and butter. On a higher end note, legacy or Seraph audio also have the wow factor sound, but are also on the same price field as this, up to the Aida. Since you like Vienna, have you checked out anything from ascend acoustics or xtz? Both are going to give you a wow factor sound, ascend is going to be VERY detail neutral, xtz is going to be very "in your face" but in an almost nice way. They aren't fatiguing but my masters are by far my favorite stand mounts because they can "throw" sound at you, like in movies with things flying at the camera, that effect is just very pronounced with them. Sonus is a musical/easy listen speaker. No matter how much they upgrade, they always voice them a bit soft/lush. aside from the lumina which honestly sounds alot like my tesla.

If I may ask, with the Mac amps and the 8950, can you hurt the amp or speakers if you use the 8ohm tap on a 4pm rated speaker. For example, could you run the amp using 8ohm tap into the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova I speakers which are 4 ohms?
