It's Mo's job to run. It's understandable that he shies away from the best in the world, because he gets beaten every time he challenges them. Mo needs to put food on his table so I get why he picks races he can win.

Loppy2345 You realize that Kamworor is also coached by Patrick Sang, Kipchoge's coach and that he is one of many of Kipchoge's training partners in Patrick Sang's training camp. Also Kipchoge only concentrates on the full marathon races and not half marathons.

Ok race commentary, you messed up. All those times in the first 20 min, you talked about the Scandinavian record holder going at “world record pace” when he was running with a pacer and one other guy. That wasn’t Kamworor! He was with a bigger group. Can we be more accurate at identifying Kenyan runners? You can’t just look at the jersey color.

Vivek Dantas The women usually have male pacers for obvious reasons. The pacers for male athletes usually cannot last the pace that they set for the athletes for the entire race. If they could last the entire race then they would be able to win the race themselves.

My friend doping is rampant, and you can bet they will do a blood analysis on the top runners especially after an alleged world record. By the way I love the Kenyan runners as I competed against them in College and the Pros. I have zero respect for the Muslims runners from Morocco and Etophia as I have witnessed them cheating numerous times.

The course was mostly flat and down hill in Denmark so no wonder an easy World Record! Try running this time in Boston in the second half of the race--Solo and see what type and kind of time you run??!

First of all I don't think it was an easy world record he ran 21km in 58 Minutes that's insane. Secondly the course is a circle so if you run some parts down hill you will have to run up hill the same amount for sure. And finaly it's obvious that some courses are faster than others and in Boston he would have been slower but that doesn't make this WR worse 😄

My P.R.'s since you asked from nearly forty (40) years ago were as follows: @ 2-mile 8:46.23 in college, 5,000 meters 14:01.64 outdoors college, 10,000 meters 29:33.60 the Professional races, 1/2 Marathon 1:05:16,( Pros) and the Boston Marathon placed 66th &67th in the World second marathon ever run for New Balance in 2:18:16 (The Pros).
