@@minaxaArt you can use pie chart to reset for monument at spawn, that can be combined with multi instance. Monuments are def the future

Pigs wont despawn with leather armour or even the souldand boots so I throw those on pigs to wear if I get those trades early

I've come back to this with the realisation that everything here is in territory of 1.15 meaning that if he rolled this seed on 1.15 he would literally break the wr by almost 4 minutes (16:02) that's crazy.

@@andemu_ No. This happens sometimes, but it's really rare. It's a result of the game creating the nether-side portal at a location that is significantly displaced from the coordinates that actually match the overworld portal's location. My best guess is the original portal in the overworld had nether coords out over that lava lake somewhere. The game doesn't want to give you a nether spawn like that if it can possibly help it, so it will search around for normal spawning locations within a certain range. (I'm not sure what that range is.) Finding that soulsand peninsula, it "snapped" the portal there similar to how mid-ocean strongholds might "snap" to an island if it's close enough to the intended location. Second, minecraft doesn't really link nether portals the way that most people think of it. Instead, every time you go through a portal in either dimension, the game searches the opposite dimension for an already existing portal it can put you out at. But it only searches within a specific range, and when you're going nether-to-overworld that range is pretty small. I'm guessing that because the nether-side portal had "snapped" pretty far to get to land, its corresponding overworld coordinates were too far away from the original overworld portal for the game to find that portal. Finding nothing, the game just created a new overworld portal at matching coordinates, which happened to be in that cave. Haven't actually checked out the seed, but if my understanding of portals is correct that should be what happened.
