Thx for this!! I love ur tutorials, you're an excellent teacher. I have a bunch of ur tutorials saved on my list to learn, including this one now. The holiday season is my absolute favorite, so a candy cane or giant peppermint stick would be fun as a wand for a seasonal routine! 🎄

Great tips on a classic that I love. I have extremely ambitious and use the techniques all the time. This was a good refresher. I use something from the spectator as a magic wand, lipstick, eyeliner, keys, something to personalize the moment

The magic wand I would use is a silver cane with an Infinity Stone at the end of it, specifically the reality stone. Lots of cool nerdy Marvel stuff that can be applied…provided there’s no copyright infringement!

I start my ambitious routine with your paper clipped routine. I hand someone a card in a clip. I go through three bringing the card up, and then for a finish, the card is now in the paperclip that a spectator has been holding the whole time. Fun reactions.

I would use a conductor baton as a magic wand as I am a music student, I understand that music can evoke wonderful feelings, feelings akin to what magic could evoke, thus, it would seem fitting to use a conductor baton. I hope that these two will join hands and provide a hopeful feeling of warmth for the world one day. :)

When I do an ambitious card trick, I usually use a triple lift, turn over their card, turn it back over and bury the top card. Then a double lift shows their card again, so turn if face down again and bury the top card (still not their card) and reveal their card a third time on top. I think I will try adding the second deal to give more versatility to this effect.

I would also use a hair brush because it would add some real levity to the trick. It is 11:30 PM. I like the way you show so clearly some of the elements of the passes. I am a relatively beginning magician and I am happy to hear that this set is something that a beginner can learn to do through your experienced teaching.😊

Better than a magic wand: a dish-washing brush, with a suction cup base, available from Ikea. Great for bad puns ("I need to brush up my technique!"), and great for misdirection (when you slam the wand on the table to activate the suction cup, eyes are naturally drawn to that motion).

I's been awhile since I entered one of your give aways. I have a small collection of magic wands. I have one of hose really nice hardwood job that separates in the middle. I have most of the gag wands we all know about and love. But, if I had to use a wand I would choose on that is 18" long and about 1" in diameter, made out of glass. It's heavy enough to be used in self-defense should the need arise. And, unlike most of the ones I own, this glass one started out as a hand towel bar in a formal bathroom. And, It works just as good as any other.

My wife and I both have some physical disabilities, yet even when they know about it, people don't understand why we can't do some things that are easy for them to do. They're philosophy is that if they can do it, then I can. Wrap it up is one of the tricks I do to prove them wrong, ie the opposite is also true: if I can do something, you should be able to do it. Then I do the trick, and say, "Okay. Now you do it."
