Was at the pop up Gashapon shop in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles to experience the vending machines. I got one of the Kirby models and when I read the little pamphlet that came inside with the toy, it said made in China. I thought these were made by Japanese craftsmen?

Hmm there were quite a few, but mainly I was surprised mostly my the amount of weird food/animal and other object themed gacha!

American capsule machines are garbage. Just stickers, candy and cheap knockoff toys. Japanese Gachapon machines are way better.
