Nice Video! The cheap version of your motor support is a big rubber O-ring. That's what I use on my cars with heavy motor to prevent bending the mount. If you seriously think about going into 5th scale have a llok at the FG onroad scene, that might be right down your alley interms of speed on the street!

Hey Raz funny to see the Talion build it was my last build fishscale adapters for scale wheels new Talion EBX crazy I did the same thing. Only problem I had is my adapters needed to be machine down they make the car too wide which made it hard to drift I don’t have access to a lathe you may run into the same issue except you’re really good at solving problems😏👍🏻🤟🏻

Hi Raz, you can add "sides" on the cylinder (or any circle) on tinkercad so you cylinder looks more "round" and so the motor can sit better on the support you print.

Same problem with all my arrma bashers. I bend the motor mount or bend the can of the motor. I made a rear aluminum brace on my lathe for my arrmas. Now it also transfers the heat from the rear of the motor to the chassis. I had to put thermal paste between the mount and chassis for it to transfer heat really well. I thought you were going to be gentle? lol

hey Raz, I haven't done it in a while but if I remember correctly, I can use the throttle/reverse/break mid air to adjust pitch and land flat. Couldn't tell if you do this or if its even something to reasonably expect someone to be able to do, I just remember it was the only way my cars landed flat off of jumps back in the day. Edit: nvm, watched again and you def do this on some jumps. Nice.

I was doing a project for RC and I was thinking about something like that to where you just build it but I didn’t have nothing to build it like nothing like it already thing so I was saying I don’t know if they know I never asked the RC shop For it if they had back motor rack and never asked so I never saw nobody did it before so for you to sell and I was thinking the same thing as when your vehicles jump and when you guys do it that way, I don’t drop my vehicles like that because I don’t have the money to replace it home but yes it’s crazy but yeah, I like watching your videos. Keep it up.

Yes 💯% You will really enjoy 1/5. And it will be very interesting in what we will see you do with monsters. I had a hpi baja ss for a long time multiple 2 strokes went in. All my motors I bought in parts and built my self. Last motor was a esp 30.5 2mm + STROKE AND STUFFED CRANK, 990 CARB AND LOTS OF UPGRADES. Second spine surgery put a end to all that.🤷‍♂️ Can't wait to see what you do.

I find 1:5 to be too large for me in the sense of fun vs work! Tough to carry around and all that! Having said that, I love what you’ve done with the Losi and I do want more content of this type! In a way 1:5 scale it’s like with RC boats for me! I love them but I find the maintenance to be a tad too much! Who knows, maybe there’s an XMaxx or Losi like the one you built in my future, one never knows! Anyhow, you do inspire others 😁

I don't understand why that type of Motor Support isnt stock eqipment. It seems like a no brainer to hold the motor up from heavy landings. OR, even make one out of aluminum so it conducts heat into the chassis for improved cooling. Why not? obviously make it round so it wont deform the motor can
