My crazy confession: My husband's little brother passed away suddenly at the age of 26. We all hated their father & he was being a huge bully about making sure he got his "fair share" of the ashes. No one wanted to give him anything, so when he showed up to my MIL's house a few months later, during a family gathering, I told them to keep their dad outside and distracted. I found a small container, went to the backyard, and scooped up a handful of the ashes from the fire pit. Their dad never realized they weren't his son's ashes, and when he finally passed away last year....he was buried with those same ashes that he had put in some ridiculously elaborate urn 😂 (trust me, he deserved it. He had 5 kids and 3 of them had restraining orders on him because he was so crazy). So yeah, there's my confession 😇
