Jeonju, South Korea is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy and if there is only one thing you eat in Jeonju, it must be bibimbap. Picture, beautiful strips of marinated raw pork on a bed of countless ingredients and fragrant rice. At least I thought you came to Jeonju for the bibimbap, but turns out the bulgogi might be the real reason should come to Jeonju.

Living in that hanok village must have felt like traveling through time and space! Bibimbap is really delicious, especially in winter, the crispy rice tastes even better! That red bean soup is very thick and looks delicious, I like it! Korean barbecue sauce is really an important discovery for mankind, especially when eaten with lettuce, it feels great! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍🥰👏 P. S. Sesame soup is very good and has six major effects: 1. High nutritional value 2. Lower cholesterol 3. Balance hormones 4. In Korea, bulgogi generally refers to beef marinated in soy sauce..

I visited Jeonju in 2015. You missed 3 very good food places. 1) Veteran Kalguksu and 2) Mom and Tart-(better than many in Lisbon)- both in the old village. 3) For Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) -Yewoorang Junghwasan-dong (thought it was better than Tosokchon in Seoul )

Patjuk does have a flavour, it’s red bean which might not be in your face but it’s earthy and delicious. Add sugar to turn it into a sweet dish or eat with banchan for a savoury meal. Also, Korean desserts don’t come with kimchi, there’s just different ways of eating this particular dish in case anyone was worried or confused.

Ssamjang for ssam not gochujang You doesn't touch your soup so sad You need to add 1 spoonful soup into your bibimbap before mix them
