I'm a Brit living in Johor. JDT have an amazing set-up. In the time I have lived here they have gone from a few thousand fans and a fairly average stadium to the cool new stadium and thousands more fans. It's a great place to watch a game, but JDT really need some competition, it's ridiculous how far ahead of every other team.

it's easy to say, when the royalties literally owned the club, while the rest of their competition is a gathering of small time investor who have absolutely no passion for the game, just the business side of it, sponsorship give them airtime. Unless a big time syeikh or the other sultans wants to buy one team, there will be no worthy competition im afraid

Greetings from Stuttgart (Germany). Great video mate! I went to Malaysia earlier this year. Unfortunately couldn't see a game, but I bought this crazy Selangor shirt from last season I believe. It has this crazy black and red pattern all over it. It is honestly my most worn football kit at the moment. I was so surprised by the quality and creativity of the malaysian kits in general.

@@MackDaddy233Their league just started after short break season on July transfer windows...Their league was not done yet..Their was nothing to weird about south east asian football arena bro,bcuz on south east asian football actually still in developing and still makin improvement on their league....If u compare the condition of south east asian league with europe league that was a mistake bro,that was bcuz europe league was already known as the first competetive n successfull league since world war...but in south east asian football official league was growing by step from different country there....In showing the world how big was their passion in football,they want to keep improve in football and willing to spend more money,effort,hardwork and also their energy to gettin better in football arena..what they just did in realize their dreams in football should to be respect and proud of..

That's the team I managed on FM 23 after winning the league by 17 points in season 1 the Chairman gave me 10 million in season 2. I managed to get to the Asian Champions league final in season 2 where I lost to Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia. Interesting to find out more about them irl!

@@tomlennox5555 Not really unfortunately I managed to get a couple of Malaysian players who.were playing overseas and a couple of Saudi Arabian talents but it's more than good enough to win the Malaysian league but it's almost impossible to win the Asian Champions league due to the Saudo Arabian teams being far too strong

what a massive club JDT is. certainly improves the quality of football in Malaysia. Its sad to hear when people believe that its better to not have them in our league because their level is so high comparing to the other team. I believe instead of that, the other clubs should follow the path that they've already made. there's no secret in success. the basic things like training grounds, the people running the club, the facilities, must be improvised first before thinking of the "on the pitch" stuffs. Of course some teams don't have the financial capacity to do all of that, but people need to start realising that football club can also be a good investment. at the same time you will be giving back to the community, to the town, and to the nation. Great video btw, thanks for showing JDT to the world!!!

Amazing! You should have watch their final recently. I’m a Singaporean and has frequently travelled to JB just to watch JDT game since last year and it was totally worth it. Let me know if you are intending to catch them in Sultan Ibrahim Stadium. You will be amazed on how awesome to be witnessing the game and atmosphere!

Basically JDt's Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is the best stadium in the country because it is the only stadium that has spectators seat nearest to the football pitch simiarly like how football stadiums are in Europe. And yeah pity that they don't do stadium tours in the stadium. They should do one so that fans can see the stadium up close outside of matchdays.

Johor adopted a modern form of football that should've been done by the rest of the Super League teams a decade ago. JDT is good, but the rest are still lagging far behind, playing the kind of football no different from 20 years ago. There are only a few teams that can put up a fight against Johor, but even then Johor still stand tall at the final minute of the matches. Soon they'll be going against KL City for the FA trophy, a match arguably all Malaysians know the end result lol

Fun fact : eventhough Malaysian National Football Team qualified to AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar for the first time after 42 years by merit / through qualification, Their also qualified in AFC Asian Cup 2007 edition as a host nation alongside Thailand, Vietnam & Indonesia, which is Australia make a debut in this tournament after leaving Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and joined AFC after 2006 FIFA World Cup.

JDT's stadium is the most modern stadium you will find in the Malaysian premiership. It's kind of like the Portuguese premiership where Benfica have this massive stadium and meanwhile you have other smaller ones.

Fernando ferestieri , Richmond boakyie , former Gremio player name bergson , former MLS , Liga MX , La liga or liga Segunda aswell .
