The entire crew has an Ultra High Top Secret Security Clearence. I had the honor of servicing the plane and crew after the plane was struck by lightening and had to emergency land. My clearance was immediately upgraded to serve the aircraft and it's crew. I'm glad the Nappies slander doesn't supercede the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. government.

The E-4 is an AACP, the POTUS doesn't fly in, nor is it designed to "keep the important people safe". The AACP or Advanced Airborne Command Post is used to command and control. In fact the plane in the video, looks like an E-4B, and that's even being replaced with something else. TL;DR the video implies something that isn't true.

I actually live near the Air Force base that holds the aircraft. It often does fly directly over my house during its regular touch and go operations (literally touching the landing gear to the runway for a moment before taking back off to circle around and do it again. It’s a good way to keep the pilot’s skills sharp and can play a role in the aircraft’s maintenance.) I’m never afraid because so long as it is turning and maintaining low altitude I can know for sure it is doing those procedures. It’s when it is climbing as fast as it can that I should start worrying

Why does it matter if they’re in the air when the bomb goes off? Both of them are on at that point, but still useless. Did you see how long it took him to go up the stairs? I would do a touch and go routine too. If he ain’t there, I’m going back up. Even if he’s there it’s debatable. I already know how this ends up. I’ve had too many scary dreams. When you see someone tripping like that running from a threat, they dead regardless.

Hear me out, you could have something like a c5 specifically built for a majority of citizens. They would be in a fleet called “the doomsday fleet” which depending on the size of the airport could be based at multiple airports for each state. They would be modified variants of these planes like the current doomsday plane. A certain amount would be based at every single airport of every single state insuring that hopefully everyone gets out safe.

I used to work on that plane as a com/nav technician in the air force. He drastically exaggerated the plane. Yes it is always within 2 hours of the president no matter where he/she maybe. But the engine is not running 24/7, but it does need to be airborne within 30 minutes, so it is always prepared for T/O. It does have EMP hardening to prevent the electronics from being affected by s nuclear blast. I could tell you a lot more about this plane.

Ok so in the event of nuclear war you want the President to die in the White House? Once the commander in chiefs dead I doubt we can elect a new leader considering nukes are flying. So that leaves the military without a commander in chief, generals and other top staff will also likely die in the Pentagon. Now the head of the US armed forces is dead. After that it’s free game for our enemies. What I’m trying to say is it’s better to keep the top brass alive purely to avoid chaos and instability and to keep the chain of command alive.
