I'm from Finland and it's true what you said about us drifting on studded tires. At least in my opinion drifting becomes much more fun on ice when you got those studs giving you that extra bit of grip, and thus you actually can get some speed going into corners and overall have better control over your car. I feel like without studs the car goes where it wants and the driver kinda follows, if you know what I mean, but with studs it's the other way around and that's a good thing.

Day 5 of watching alexi's old vids - video foouurr

I live in norway and have a stock 4wd Subaru legacy (2000 gl) only got around 140'ish bhp, but damn the snow is best thing each year. And each year I start off with studded tires and 2-3 months with snows leaves me with 0 studs and almost no tires left. But gotta hand it to the car tho, easiest car ever to drift in snow + I've bashed on it a few years now and only needed to replace clutch once and transmission (last week) once - and that's in it's entire lifespan. (got around 280k km/ 170k miles on it) But now I've found a new fav youtube channel, thank you kind sir!

I'm from norway, me and my friends do this every night of the winter months, we buy cars togheter and drift them to shreds in the winter and then we spend the summer cruising on tour with em, last autum we bought a Volvo 245, its probably the best car for ice drifting, having in mind that it was made for the crappy winter roads up in the north of sweden and norway, some came with lsd's but our hasnt got one but having a open diff never stopped us from drifting it. B)
