It has to be super uplifting to be competing and there is literally the strongest man in the world casually helping out and grabbing stuff. Hooper is the right kind of champion... he is less getting slapped on the back theatrics and more down to winning championship business and doing tons of PR. He does tons of volunteering and even some exercise therapy stuff with people. Pretty cool dude and he has years left in the sport too.

Perhaps Donna Moore should be competing here, especially since she hasn't had the greatest success in the 82KGs. Shes competing against those under-35s in their prime. Brian Shaw has talked about the struggles of this. Tom Stoltman is about the same height and weight as him, but the big difference was he was only a late 20s man.

Yes. Women can now lift things. What an evolution. But they're NOT doing things men do. Men can actually lift a lot of weight.

It's the same thing with the strongest men, you need a strong core to lift that much weight, you can't do this type of competition when you're skinny.

@@EsKeleto2507so extra fat is a “strong” core? Fat does nothing to “support you”. you dont know anything about physiology…they work hard and consume alot of calories hence extra fat.

@@Bunnykisses1000 Maybe I used the term "strong core" wrong, but it is a fact that strongmen/strongwomen need to have core strength, a big belly can provide better stability and support for lifts. And I didn't say they were fat in the sense of being obese, I know how ridiculously muscular and strong they are.
