This is also my all time favourite team Wasim Akram in place of imran Khan and Virat Kohli in place of Steve Smith Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne were also select in the team

S.Gavaskar, B.Richards, G.Pollock, B.Lara, S.Tendulkar, G.Sobers, A.Gilchrist, W.Akram, M.Marshall, S.Warne, D.Lillee, (rest of squad, could be included depending on wicket), V.Richards, J.Kallis M.Muralithian, G.Chappell, D.Steyn.

@@sydmohe Gavaskar was a far superior opening Batsman than Greenidge. While Dhoni may questionably have a slight edge over Gilchrist (no slouch)with the gloves, Gilchrist's superiority with the Bat gives him the nod.

@@udayakapuhennayake8518 Yes, I get it, but if memory serves me well, his batting average wasn’t that smoking hot when keeping and he dis give it up in tests. Might have continued to keep in ODI’s, but this is test format. At that he is not a fulltime keeper. Gilchrist was, and there are many others bat/keeper types ahead of him.

No quicks, and Lohmann didn't play enough tests to warrant selection. Barnes deserves his place, but him and Lohmann bowled on some atrociously poor pitches, and had an even more of an advantage against batsmen. Doubt they would have been as successful on todays flat tracks with not much assistance.

What about S.G.Barnes av 63.05 (second highest av in test cricket) in 19 innings with 3 centuries and 5 fifties. He lost 8 years during WW!!

Not a credible list. Only 3-4 countries played cricket when the old timers on this list played, I doubt their stats would be anywhere near what they were had they played against the fearsome fast bowlers of the 80’s to 00’s or modern day spin greats.

Malcolm Marshall, Dale Steyn, Glen McGrath, Shane Warne, Richard Hadlee, Adam Gilchrist (WK), Jaques Kallis, Graeme Pollock, Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar, Graeme Smith (C) would destroy that team on paper and on any cricket pitch in history. Plus an entire reserve team of Akram, Younis, Donald, Botham, Dev, Dravid, Gavaskar, Richards, de Villiers, Sehwag and Gayle would beat them too. Their bowlers would be more aggressive and varied and their batsmen more attacking and innovative.

Bullshit Team 🤗🤗🤗🤗 If Bradman had played in the era of real fast bowlers, ( Malcom Marshal, Garner, Michael Holdings, Andy Roberts, Wasim Akram, Dennis Lity, Sir Richard Hadley). Would not have scored a single century. Plus fielding in those days was 😂. Plus he played against only 2 or 3 Countries.
