Jan Jacobsen I always wondered if it was like that, like if they are speculating about life and maybe they had their first moon landing too, and have sent their own probe out to interstellar space and now make documentaries wondering what would happen if we made contact. I think we should send our own documentary out to space and hopefully they pick it up and can see we are the same just vastly different in appearance possibly.

It still blows my mind that there are humans that invented rockets that have not only gone to space, but have sent rovers to a planet over 9 months away travel distance, landed it, and sent pictures back from there. That in itself just seems like a great achievement for mankind. It makes average humans like me and most others look like cavemen.

More likely we migrated from Venus when it became too hot to support human life. As the earth heats up and becomes uninhabitable, mars will be warming up for us. 🤨 We're just hopscotching planets until we destroy that ozone layer, lol. Seriously, the the cave drawings of ancient astronauts could be US.

@@purpleflametarot39 Venus has never been habitable for any life, let alone human life. Venus was struck by an ancient planet which inverted its orbit and slowed it down, meaning it couldn't develop a magnetic field and got fried by the Sun's radiation. Earth had a similar impact with an ancient planet, which had the opposite effect. It caused the earth to spin faster, thus generating a formidable magnetic field which repels almost all of the Sun's dangerous radiation.

It won't be for metal ores, all of which are known to exist in far greater amounts on asteroids in our system and outside. And for them to develop technology, it will require development in an atmosphere capable of producing fire for early tool making. I'm no chemist, but there aren't a lot of atmospheric mixes capable of that. You can't get to space, if you can't even begin to work with basic metals.

Laykan Thee Alien 🤔Makes sense. We have microbes and bacteria that live in the vents and boiling boiling pools near active volcanos. Plus most close encounters with UFO’s 🛸 also tend to report increase radiation or microwave like burns to witnesses. I would not be surprised is most Aliens live in higher radiation or even microwave environments, and out planet is to “mild” for them in the long term. That is why they have not invaded...just use us as a temporary pit stop or something while galaxy hopping. 🤷‍♀️But I could be wrong. Just my hypothesis.

If they're really coming from the "edge of the universe", theoretically we'll be waiting forever for their eventual arrival. Unfortunately, with space expanding faster than light travels, it's going to be even longer. Time is the biggest "filter" pertaining to the Fermi paradoxical reasons for never meeting aliens although there are probably many alien species in existence. Just an opinion.

@space and astronomy, I agree that there is no evidence that aliens exist, and if there is evidence the government is probably covering it up. However, there is plenty of documented accounts of people seeing UFO's or being abducted by aliens. Furthermore, there is plenty of documented declassified evidence that the US government was involved in studying UFO's, and investigating these incidents. The government also pushed false propaganda about aliens and UFO's which makes you doubt if they know something we do not and are attempting to cover something up. If they do exist and live among us my suspicion is the ones that live among us look just like us or are hybrids of some sort that still look like us. The ones that do not look like us probably live in deep underground military bases and are kept secret. How would we find them? I do not think they want to be found, if they did they would let themselves be known to humanity as a whole, at this point I think they only let themselves be known to certain people or abductees.

Hi my take n this matte is that extraterrestrial visitation is inevitable, this is a matter of when, therefore we need to be mindful of the type of communication that we are sending into space, we must be mindful of the fact that these beings are far more powerful and intelligent than us humans. Secondly, people who have come into contact with entities that we need to hear the type of experience and associated encounters, so that we can better prepare ourselves in a meaningful and practical way. Remember this fact, that we too are ALIENS/EXTRATERRESTRIAL to them also. Wallace Ps I love the documentary as a avid lover of time and 🚀 space continuum .

The technology involved in traveling from another planet would indicate that our alien visitors are greatly advanced the highly developed intelligence of these aliens could show them to be smart enough to avoid human contact. They could do a drive by not wanting to be infected with the terminal illness that has caused the human race to destroy our beautiful Earth and inflict atrocities on one another. Or they could just get angry at what we have done and end our existence. Either way I fear we will pay for our greed and arrogance.

All you need to do is replace the starship with a big rock and aim it at Earth, and we're all dead. Honestly, we'd never even see them coming, there would just be an asteroid with a strangely direct trajectory for earth and then we're gone. Not to mention, if they don't just do that, they'll simply park their ships in orbit and bomb the surface of the earth until it turns to glass, and we could do nothing, because we don't have anything that can reach into orbit save for a few measly rockets that'll get blasted to bits the instant they clear the stratosphere.

Imagine an A-10 at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. None of the combatants could hope to harm the airplane, they would not even know what it was, but a single A-10 could kill everyone on the battle field, on both sides in just a few minutes. And that is a technology gap of less that 1000 years. How much more advanced would aliens capable of interstellar travel be? If they didn't care about the biosphere they could kill us all simply by changing the orbit of a comet slightly and we would never even know we were under attack.
@ED-es2qv
@ED-es2qv 5 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but you're way off about the A-10 (my favorite ground support aircraft when I was a Ranger, by the way) . It doesn't carry enough ammo to kill even 10% of the people at the battle of Hastings, and that would be if it could fire a single shot and killed somebody every time. In reality, the A-10 could probably kill a few hundred people before it ran out of fuel or ammo, leaving the other 15,000+ people to start looking for where it lands. An ICBM would be a better analogy. I concede your overall point that the alien technology can almost certainly destroy us at will, without fear of retaliation.
@erictaylor5462
@erictaylor5462 5 жыл бұрын
The A-10 has more than just it's gin. It also carries bombs and napalm. And if you think people would stick around after it made the first pass... My point is, as you pointed out, it could destroy the people on the ground, and the people on the ground couldn't do anything about it. If I had been able to join the Air Force, the A-10 would have been the plane I wanted to fly.

Every one of these documentaries is always about some damn invasion scenario. I know it sells in the ratings but gimmie a break! "Greetings Earthlings! We are 1 million years more advanced than you and we need resources, slaves and food. While we can build interstellar spacecraft, we simply refuse to use our technology to build machines to do our work. We prefer spending the extra resources to feed and subdue a resistant population. And all the resources we passed on the way here were just too easy. We like a challenge, and that's why we sat on the sidelines for hundreds of thousands of years waiting for you to reach a technological point where you can at least throw crude bombs at us. Again, coming here before you evolved to take what we wanted would have been far TOO EASY. We wish to be amused, please begin resisting!"

Mabye we should just stop being a threat to ourselves and to others; ordinary human beings are easily wound up by fear and loathing. Surely we need to work on our own emotions and become strong in love and compassion and wisdom... Aggression is a weakness; it does not address the basis of our conundrum which is ignorance. Become heroes not aggressors America!! Does anybody read this stuff?
