Event boss is as inefficient as it is. You need to find local minibosses around the map. Sometimes they're 10 seconds away from each other and that's where people farm pink stones for their zero weapon or trade.

It's more like 4x chance of winning a 10% empowerment stone. Others may argue that it would be that high but it's really just that low every time.
