A very long time ago I purchased an assortment of beads in the U.S. and packed them in my checked baggage before flying back to Canada. After landing and retrieving my suitcase I was approached by two CBSA agents who questioned me at length before even opening my bag because the several strings of beads looked suspiciously like animal spinal columns on the x-rays. On seeing all the beads they switched their suspicion to drug smuggling and held me up for a half hour while randomly checking the packages of loose beads for illegal drugs that I was not smuggling. They seemed so disappointed when they had to release me.

And these are the reasons I stay in my bubble. 😁 Lest, I not forget all the disrespectful flyers, the drunks and the Karens. I'm good driving😊

I got pulled to the side for a secondary check last week. I was travelling with just my purse because my husband was driving down with the moving truck and would be there the next day. Long story short, I had 4 screws and a 3 inch long square head drill bit in my purse and the drill bit was not allowed. They had 4 people come to check it out! I had no clue lol Hubby was worried he would misplace the screws for the hottub so I took them.

While I FULLY Understand the Need of ESA's (as I have 1 myself..a cat)....The animals being "proclaimed" as ESA'S..is getting OUT OF CONTROL!!
